Washer and Dryer is not inside the walkout basement. Erin frendly and willing to do our laundry as we asked but not as convenient as having a washer or dryer to use arnour convenience. Pool was a little dirty but lots of toys and floaties to keep kids entertained. Very thoughtful touches such as make up wipes, qtips, cotton pads extra tooth brushes, high chair for toddler and pack and play. Fun toys for a two year old. Clean inside (and we are very picky with cleanliness). Lots of towels. Overall a very pleasant stay!

We enjoyed the quiet location. The rental space is on the lower level of the house with side private entrance and plenty of windows. Kitchen is large and open to family room which has a large tv and plenty of comfy seating. 3 cozy bedrooms accommodate sleeping time. Bathroom is sizeable. Shampoo, body wash, hair dryer, hair straightener, and other accessories were available. The landlord is friendly and helpful.

I had an amazing experience here. This was my first time staying in a location where the host lives and I have zero regrets! Host was amazing, super lovely and friendly. Beds were super comfy, place was clean. My friends and I had an amazing time there. Would highly recommend!

The accommodation was beautiful and clean. The outdoor area was spectacular with a pool, firepit, gazebo and chickens. My grandson had fun watching and feeding the chickens and the hosts were kind to give us some fresh eggs. There was a nice beach/playground/splashpad nearby that was perfect for the little one (14 months). Hosts were great when we needed anything and responded promptly. I would highly recommend this property.

We stayed at Chateau Jan for a week while some repairs were going on at our house. From booking the rental to checking in and checking out communication with Erin was so easy and she is so helpful! The apartment is beautiful and Erin provides you with anything you may need to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend a stay!

Erin and her husband were very kind and gave us a nice tour of the stay in the start. They went above an beyond in lighting up the fire pit even with the damp wood. We really liked the stay the rooms and everything in the house is kept so well.

The property was beautiful. They had so many things on offer. It was quaint in location but it was very spacious inside. Everything was top-of-the-line, and the beds were fantastic the living room was great and the kitchen was great too. It had all the things that we needed. Write down to cream and milk in the fridge for our coffee and coffee for the coffee maker. Way to go Chateau Jan! We will definitely be staying there again.

Thanks so much for a wonderful stay! Erin was a great host. Everything we needed was already provided, including milk & cream in the fridge and a fully stocked bathroom. We were in town for our son's wedding, in close by Carleton Place. I would definately recommend this property.
