Loved how green the grass was against the old stones. #lifeatexpedia #Green
Bective Abbey on the banks of the River Boyne was a Cistercian Abbey founded in 1147.

What we found so interesting about this historic site was that it was not only free to enter but that we were free to wander around unrestricted.
Waited so long for sunset by this bridge beside Bective Abbey!
