"This is a super little hotel beside the Cathedral, really short walk to the old town, the beach, the river, and the bus station! Really stylish and clean. Staff were friendly and efficient. We were given a welcome glass of cava and upgraded to a room with a balcony. We didn’t book the breakfast option, so not sure how good that is, but there is free water and soft drinks in the rooms. Lovely touches. "

"We found the location was excellent. Our room was clean and comfortable. Where the hotel fell short was not having coffee available in the lobby. We did use the parking garage. It was very tight and you had to use the same ramp to enter and exit which made for a stressful trip up and down. Of the 3 times we exited, the light which signaled for oncoming traffic did not come on 2 of those times. When the garage door opened there was another vehicle on the other side. "

"A lovely hotel, close to the beach and a half an hour walk to the city (15 minute bike). There is a taxi rank and a bike rack a couple of minutes away. Lovely coffee shop within hotel plus a bakery opposite and a supermarket round the corner. Overall small but comfy rooms. Only nuisances were lack of space to dry towels, no dustbin in room (just bathroom) and the clear box that is the bathroom (minimal privacy when on the loo). "

"This place is amazing! Every room is designed so it is completely private, so you can have the curtains open on the entire glass wall in the bedroom and look out over the Bay of Biscay, and soak in the tub while inhaling the ocean air. You are practically outside. They really take care of you, here. They have a spa, and they are attached to the Akelarre Restaurant (3 Michelin stars) that started it all. "
