The host was SPECTACULAR. She was so helpful with everything, even questions that did not pertain to the apartment. She made check easy, even for the older, more technology challenged. I would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful location and modern, roomy comfortable apartment with easy walk to restaurants and shops. Check in is with receptionist at fitness club that shares building but host was easily reached and very responsive. If coming by car location is reached by driving down a narrow tourist crowded street with a restricted access sign which we did not realize until after finding parking far away and walking to the site and getting clarification from the receptionist. Once there, however, parking is provided and easy. We were also surprised to find the heat had been turned off in the building before our arrival and the weather was cool. Host quickly provided a portable heater which sufficed when informed of the problem.

The location of this hotel can’t be beat if you are using public transportation. What a wonderful surprise to come up from the metro station and see the hotel right across the street. The hotel itself was very comfortable. The desk staff could have been a little more helpful.

The view is amazing. The apartment was spacious and had parking right out front. If you have time, take advantage of the main hotel lakeside area and indoor pool/spas. Check in is at the main hotel. Use that address for GPS. It would be nice if they provided and couple of bottles of water and coffee to make in the room.

Basic Amenities Need Improvement

Most hotels provide complimentary coffee/tea and water in their guest rooms as standard amenities but this isn't one of them. A little tricky to make it to the hotel but the location is great. The room was clean although it could use some updating.

Stayed for two nights. Very lovely setting, clean and well stoked with amenities. Bonus access to hotel facilities which we didn’t have time to use but lovely to walk around the front garden. Paid for the breakfast at the hotel which was worth it in my view! We had the medium room and my teenage daughter was very happy with her massive sofa bed in the living room! Close to shops and restaurants and a pharmacy down the road. True about not providing a bottle of water upon arrival which was a bit disappointing and bit of hike dragging the suitcases on foot up the hill from previous reviews, but it is hilly everywhere in Bellagio so unless you have a car just need to get used to climbing steep hills. Would definitely come back if we are staying in Bellagio again as a a family. Or maybe staying at the main hotel if just the two of us. Love the apartment overall perfect for long stay family holidays in Lake Como.

Very basic accommodation but an incredible value for the money. The Grand Hotel is spectacular and you have full rights to the main property. My son absolutely loved the indoor and outdoor pool and swimming in the lake. We would return again. Bellagio is a charming and beautiful little town.

I liked the convenience of the property. Easy access to all areas in Bellagio. The apartment was clean and roomie. Loved the balconies. The only thing disappointing was no room service with clean towels everyday, and the property grasses were quite overgrown. But even with that, I would recommend the property since it was so convenient, and a nice quiet area.

The place is beautiful and the amenities at the hotel are fantastic. Be aware that there are several steep hills to walk up if you don't have a car. It was difficult with luggage. Totally worth it though! The gentleman that checked us is at the gym/activity center was super nice and helpful!

Booked here and did not realize that this is a sort of apartment off the main property of a lager hotel. Room was super hot and they would not turn on air conditioning (even though room temp 85 degrees F) because it was April. We left it to stay in the main hotel which was awesome but cost 200 more euros per night. That place was awesome.

Experienced the situation that I need to pay 15 euro to change bath towel with no any service provided other than you have a place to sleep. Please note when you book this place, their policy is to not clean room and not change bath towel for 5 days. If you wish to have clean towel, you need to pay 15 euro for each change. If you need to clean room, you need to pay additional room service fee. This information seems not provided in the booking plateform and need to be aware in the booking .

Room was very clean and nice to stay in. We received an upgraded room on check-in, and the views of the lake from this room were wonderful. I am not sure what we would have had if not for the upgrade. Staff were friendly and helpful. The A/C worked great and was really needed for us, who were not accustomed to the heat and humidity. Parking would have been great if we brought a car. Instead, we chose to drop it off in Milan and take other transport to Como and then up to Bellagio. The kitchen was very handy and useful when we chose to use it. There were local markets close by to buy food and cook it for meals in the room. This saved us quite a bit of money. The only complaint I had was about possible usage of the associated resort facilities. The large resort next door had its name all over the residence we stayed in and it would have been nice to be able to use the resort pools or beachfront, even if for a daily fee. But I was told we could not, the following day after I booked the stay. All in all a great stay. Everything you would need is a short walk away, restaurants and shops. The exception is for the public beach, which was about 20-30 min walk and the shoreline was not bare foot friendly. We did make the trek, once, and enjoyed the refreshing swim at the beach.

Läget är toppen, stor lägenhet. Vi fick ingen information om att vi inte kunde checka in på själva stället, när vi kom dit stod det bara en skylt att vi skulle gå till det stora hotellet för att checka in och det gick bra, men en liten promenad att ta sig med barn så hade varit bra att veta innan. Det fanns ingen beskrivning om hur vi skulle ta oss till rummen så fick leta själva och släpa upp allt för en trappa (men det fanns en lättare väg). Lamporna i lägenheten är extremt ljusa (sjukhusbelysning). Hade gjort mycket ifall det fanns lite skönare belysning, speciellt i sovrummet vid sängarna.
