We wanted to be close to downtown Fairhaven. We were one block away! Condo is spotless and up to date in every way. Perfect spot to build a lovely week visiting our son and his family.

Cozy, comfortable, classy

We stayed four nights in this lovely spot in Fairhaven. Though compact, the apartment was very well-furnished with comfortable beds, sofa and chairs, and well-supplied with the basics plus for cooking and eating in. We loved how clean and fresh it was, along with the nice quality amenities. The location is superb. The apartment is in an upscale residential neighborhood yet we walked only 2-3 blocks to restaurants and pubs, there are many of them around. (Don't miss Sirena, a sweet little gelato shop). We'll try to stay here again next time we're in Bellingham.

Super Pad!

We enjoyed our three nights stay. The property is very close to Fairhaven and all of the restaurants and the walking paths. And yet very quiet. The kitchen is really beautiful. The finishes are high-quality. For example, the windows are beautiful, and there is a great gas fireplace. The cabinetry and the countertops in the kitchen are very nice. Very pretty unit.

Beautiful Fairhaven Condo, Great Location

We were staying in Fairhaven for the week visiting family. The condo is very clean. modern and well stocked. The beds are comfortable and the location is great. The garage is very convenient. All the furnishings are high quality and the kitchen is very well set up. It is a quick walk to restaurants and shops in Fairhaven, and a very short drive down Boulevard to downtown Bellingham with more restaurant choices and fifteen microbreweries in a ten block stretch. Add that to the location and this is a place I want to stay on my return visits to Bellingham

Best place in Bellingham!

What a cute unit! And with a garage! Very modern and cozy. We used the fire place and loved it. And, you can’t get any closer to down town Fairhaven. Only 5 minutes to WWU

Amazing "Cozy Condo" Under Statement for Sure

Loved every aspect of the property. Beautifully done the detail on everything was exceptional. I have never felt more comfortable and at home than at Herons Haven. Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. The kitchen was perfect as I love to cook fully equipped with everything I needed. Thank you very much for making it so inviting. I will definitely be back.

Thanksgiving retreat! Family reunion & exploring Bellingham,, WWU, Vancouver CA & San Juan Islands

We packed everything into this vacation, even cooking Thanksgiving dinner in a kitchen better equipped than our own home! Well done owners! This place is bran new and was perfectly located to visit our kid at WWU, travel to Vancouver CA to see the Botanical Gardens and Bloedel Bird Conservatory, took a Ferry to Friday Harbor in the San Juan Islands, explored the campus of WWU, walked along the waterfront pathway that was a block away, took our sons new friends to dinner at Twin Sisters Brewery, shopped in Bellingham, and hiked at Whatcom Falls and fed the ducks. The layout of the VRBO is great and the gas fireplace makes it even more cozy. We would absolutely return!

Great condo, superb location

This condo is exceptionally well furnished and equipped. The cleanliness level was "pristine." It's pet friendly, and there were bowls and a blanket for our small dog. The attached garage with the driveway for guests was a real plus. Having the gas grill was also a plus, as well as the efficient kitchen. It was clear that the hosts made every effort to provide whatever a guest might need. It's airier and more spacious than it appears in the listing. The location is very easy walking distance both to the charming village of Fairhaven and to the lovely harbor.

The apartment was perfect. We drove out every day to a different destination to explore. We are from the southeast and wanted to get away from the heat. NW Washington was perfect for that. Some days I started with a light fleece, and occasionally I was good with just short sleeves. The kitchen had everything we needed. Did the bulk of our grocery shopping at Grocery Outlet, but incidentals came from the Haggens store 2 blocks away. (Take some shopping bags to grocery store from apartment with you.) One bedroom had a door, the other a curtain. Only once did we turn on the A/C for a few hours in the evening. We never used the front door - the garage was so easy! Don't miss the Boulevard Park right on the coast. If you're a walker, you can walk to it from Mill St & 10th. If you drive to it, go early to get a parking space. Picture of a Heron taken in the forest of Boulevard Park. Once we traveled into Canada (a breeze), getting back into the USA, there was a 1 hour delay at the border. Only 2 gates were open.
