Beautiful, clean chalet in gorgeous setting

This is the most wonderful vacation house we have ever stayed at - perfectly located with gorgeous views and many incredible hikes that start as soon as you step out the door. It is no wonder that Tolkien was so inspired by his 1911 trip to Switzerland. Strolling the footpaths through Bellwald in the evenings felt like walking through an amalgam of the Shire and Rivendell. We hope to be back one day!

Absolutely perfect

We LOVED this chalet and made beautiful memories with our family there. We took the gondola (steps from the chalet) up the mountain and hiked down, walked through the village to Restaurant Bellwald for cheese fondue, happened upon polka music in a community courtyard and were enamored by the views. The property was pristine and perfect - we had plenty of room for 6 adults with room to spare. The patio/deck was the best!!! Kitchen well equipped, bathrooms fabulous and laundry wonderful. I can’t say enough great things about this place. Thank you!!!

Tolles Chalet mit Traum-Aussicht und viel Sonne

Wir hatten sehr erholsame Tage in Bellwald, das Chalet ist zentral im Ort und und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Im Haus war alles perfekt, es fehlt an nichts, die große Terrasse bietet den ganzen Tage sowohl sonnige wie auch schattige Plätze. Bellwald ist im Sommer ein perfekter Ausgangsort für Wanderungen, Bike (Rennrad, Mountain, Gravel oder Downhill) und ein Trailrunning-Paradies. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Gemütliches Chalet

Wir haben die Woche im Chalet Weitblick sehr genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Leider war das Geschirr sehr schmutzig. Wir mussten praktisch alles abwaschen bevor wir es benutzen konnten. Ist jedoch der einzige negative Punkt. Wir werden sehr gerne wieder kommen.

Beautiful mountain chalet

A home from home, superbly equipped with an outstanding outlook. Good communication with owner. Great base for some outstanding hiking in the eastern Valais, with a superb hike right out the door using the Aspi-Titter hanging bridge. Did not want to leave. Should mention there is a steep gravel road down to the chalet.

Gemütliches Ferienhaus mit einzigartigem Blick

Das Ferienhaus ist gemütlich und hat alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht: Ruhe, frische Luft und einen herrlichen Blick auf die Bergwelt. Die Talstation des Liftes zum Hausberg ist in wenigen Schritten erreicht. Mit der Gästekarte ist dieser (im Sommer) wie auch die Seilbahn ins Tal kostenlos. Ins historische Ortszentrum sind es auch nur ein paar Schritte. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Grosszügiges Chalet an guter Lage

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche im Chalet Weiblick! Das Chalet ist ideal gelegen unterhalb des Sesselliftes. Auf dem gut präparierten Winterwanderweg ist man auch schnell im Dorf. Das Haus ist gut gebaut, gar nicht ringhörig. Liegestühle, Decken, bequeme Sessel, gut ausgestattete Küche, es war alles da! Der Kindersitz ist schmutzig und abgenützt; er müsste ersetzt werden. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und werden wiederkommen!

Lovely stay, would like to return

Wonderful place to relax in beautiful mountain scenery. Chalet is fully equipped for cooking, and is spacious and comfortable. Shops in the village--5 minutes walking--provide all the basics. Our main suggestion would be to add a hand rail to the inside stairs. In addition, the description of the layout is not accurate, as all 3 bedrooms, along with the laundry room and 2 bathrooms, are on the level below the living area. The powder room on the main floor is very convenient, especially for those having trouble with stairs.

Heel gezellig chalet, van alle gemakken voorzien. Goed bereikbaar (klein stukje lopen vanaf de weg), skiën tot voordeur, prachtig uitzicht en fijne woonkamer. Alles wat je nodig hebt is er.
