Casa Museo A’ Rina is located on the slopes of Mt. Etna nearby Etna National Park. It is an old winery converted into a spacious country villa with lots of character and a total area of 280 sq. m / 3000 sq. ft.

Surrounded by its vineyards, there are stunning views from the panoramic roof terrace. On one side the views of majestic Mt. Etna and on the other side with spectacular views of the Bay of Catania all the way to Syracuse.

The villa boasts a wonderful collection of antique utensils used by the family for winemaking, including the ancient winepress in the living room. This all combined with the original rustic and comfortable furniture, creates a truly local and authentic Sicilian countryside experience.

The tranquil location of the villa ensures a very high level of privacy and is the perfect base to explore the many attractions of Belpasso and its surroundings.

Nearby Mt. Etna is the number one attraction and offers a wide variety of outdoor activities. Explore the many picturesque villages and towns surrounding the volcano. Catania, Taormina, Syracuse and some of Sicily’s most beautiful beaches can all be reached quickly by car.
For the kids there is the Etnaland amusement park close by. Etnapolis, one of Italy’s largest shopping malls, is within a 10-minute drive.

Then, after a busy day, return to the peace and quiet of your villa to relax and enjoy the magnificent panorama and sunset from the roof terrace.

You will have the exclusive use of the entire villa during your stay.

The living area is located on the ground floor with a large living-dining room and open kitchen, and a toilet.

On the first floor there are 3 spacious bedrooms (sleeps 6 + 2), the queen bedrooms have air-conditioning, balcony and panoramic views, and there is a bathroom with shower and a laundry.

The roof terrace on the second floor is equipped with a dining set, sofas and sun loungers to fully enjoy the spectacular views.

There is free Wi-Fi in all the rooms and on the roof terrace. Ample free parking is available near the villa. For the cooler days, all bedrooms are equipped with heating and there are pellet heaters in the living room and on the first floor.

Una bellissima vacanza nella vacanza

Gli scambi prima del soggiorno sono stati molto utili e la Signora Virginia ci ha aiutato a ben pianificare il soggiorno. Accoglienza eccezionale e grande disponibilità, in particolare durante i primi giorni. Infatti, un primo gruppo è arrivato prima degli altri ed è stato accompagnato dalla stazione di Catania fino alla Casa, oltre che invitato a cena ed addirittura guidato alla scoperta di Siracusa per una giornata intera. La casa è grande e comoda: possiede diversi spazi di vita, dall'ampia cucina al salotto, le camere e la bellissima terrazza ben attrezzata e con vista mozzafiato a 360 gradi. Zona molto tranquilla ed immersa nel verde (e nel nero della terra lavica). La posizione è ideale per approfittare sia del mare che della montagna (indimenticabili escursioni sull'Etna) che delle tante altre ricchezze della zona. I consigli ricevuti sono stati utilissimi: guida all'Etna, bar per la colazione, spiaggie, ristoranti, ecc. Grazie ancora alla Signora Virginia ed a suo figlio Ettore. Non esiteremo a tornare in famiglia o tra amici. La consigliamo senza esitazioni.

Beautiful location, wonderful ambiance, spacious rooms

The four of us had a lovely 8 day stay at Casa Museo A’Rina. Virginia was a gracious and hospitable host. The scenery was spectacular. It was a little cold in the house even with the heater on. For those who like to cook, the counter space was limited. All-in-all, a great spot to vacation: 40 minutes from downtown Catania, an hour from Syracuse, 2hours from Agrigento.

An peaceful, warm and authentic place with lovely hosts!

Time stands still in this charming and comfortable country home - this is Sicily in all of its authenticity! A place with a family history that has been preserved including remnants of its winemaking activities and old grape vines. We enjoyed evenings watching smoking Etna and unobstructed views all the way to the sea from the large roof terrace. In front of the property, a herd of goats with bells transports you to another time. Its so peaceful. The owners were exceptional !!! Honestly, we travel a lot but this was outstanding. Our son had an ear infection and they went out of the their way to help in every way. The house was very clean and all facilities were well kept. The only small suggestion we would make to our lovely hosts is that the kitchen could benefit from a few more utensils. This house is for those who prefer authenticity and character to modern design. We will most certainly return!

Country house near Etna

My spouse and our 4 kids spent a lovely holiday in this house. It was conveniently located very near to the south entry of Mount Etna. We also visited Taormina and Catania while staying here. The house is in the country and has a lovely terrace overlooking the volcano. We had a wonderful time and the property was just as advertised. We would stay here again.

Very disappointing rental

The house does not really correspond to the advertisement. The electrical power (4kVA) of the meter, located 20m outside the house (?), is insufficient for a rental for 8 people, even with a controlled consumption. The kitchen equipment is insufficient. We had to negotiate firmly with the owner to obtain a minimum: extra glasses (5 glasses for 5 people/ not one more), oven dish, tea towels, clothes pegs, iron and ironing board, fan, which were not in the house on our arrival. Not recommended for rental

Magnifica casa in ambiente bucolico. Dalla sua grande terrazza lo sguardo spazia dal mare di Catania fino all'Etna, da qui abbiamo potuto ammirare il cielo stellato e i giochi di fuoco del vulcano: uno spettacolo per noi eccezionale! E' possibile riposare in assoluta tranquillita', i letti sono comodi, la casa pulita, wifi perfettamente funzionante. La signora Sinatra ci ha accolto con calore fornendoci molti suggerimenti su cosa visitare durante il nostro soggiorno. Ci porteremo questa casa nel cuore! Grazie !

A beautiful house, and perfect base for exploring the eastern side of Sicily

We stayed at this lovely property mid - end August 2016. It's a huge house with a beautiful terrace at the top looking over the valley and up the hills to Etna. Absolutely lovely, dramatic location, and perfect for day trips to Taormina, Catania, Siracusa, Etna and many other attractions. We had a lovely time enhanced by money off vouchers given to us by the owner Virginia. The local town Belpasso is great for Breakfast at Condorellis and a fabulous meal at Casale del Notaio. Nicolosi nearby is also great for eating out and we found a geletaria on the square that did many choices of dairy free icecream as our little girl is dairy intolerant. We loved our stay, the house was just perfect. Thank you Virginia!!
