We really enjoyed our stay at the Sleepy Bear Lodge and would definitely stay here again. The location is ideal, the home is spacious, the beds and furniture are very comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped for our family, and we appreciated the bikes, hot tub, SHARC passes, and ping pong table. Finally, we just loved the decor. You can tell that the owners of this home have gone out of their way to make sure their guests have a fun trip to Sunriver.

Love Sunriver

The property is located in Fremont Crossing which is a 3 minute walk to the village. Wonderful, centrally located property with everything you could want for a fabulous getaway.

Wonderful week away

This is the cleanest and most comfortable home we have ever stayed at with Vacasa/VRBO. It made for an amazing trip! We walked everywhere-steps from the village and could walk to the pool as well. A wonderful time away!

Spacious and cozy all at once

Loved how the layout allows for a great living room for relaxing, open to a big dining table and kitchen seating too. Plus a huge primary bedroom, and second bedroom also has a private bath. Quiet street and walking distance to the Village!

Fantastic House!

We’ve stayed at many Sunriver homes over the years (30+), and this one was fantastic. Nicely appointed, comfortable beds, great flow, fun “toys,” fantastic bikes, SHARC passes—it had everything. We have added to our “favorites” and will be back!

Good spot overall

Nice visit in a quiet rental townhouse. The place felt very clean overall. Our only objection was the lack of basics in the kitchen. . . foil, salt, pepper, etc. There was nothing, but not a huge deal. Otherwise, it was all good and crazy close to the Village.

Good location The appliances REALLY need updating! The utensil container in the dishwasher is broken and keeps opening spilling the contents and occasionally prevents the door from closing. The oven fan is very loud and the temperature is uneven. The stove is very good. The carpets were stained in various places when we entered and were spot cleaned at the end of our stay.

Cozy, relaxed, we’ll appointed

We have stayed in several units at Fremont Crossing and this one has been our favorite so far. We arrived to a giant, fully decorated Christmas tree which was a nice surprise. Lots of other cute Christmas decor also. Kitchen has everything and then some. The only thing I might add is an air fryer but that’s it! A cupboard full of games was also a nice surprise! My only other suggestion would be to add a mattress pad—the master’s bed is pretty firm. Otherwise we love this unit and would DEFINITELY stay again!

Great Stay in Sunriver

The pros: The location of this property is amazing, just steps from the Village and easy access to everything you need! There were three of us staying this time, but it is definitely spacious enough for a larger family. The cons: This property was not very clean when we arrived, there were crumbs in the kitchen, couches/furniture did not look like it had been vacuumed, and bedding had a lot of dog hair on it still - we were taken aback when we first arrived. Not necessarily a complaint, but this home is obviously well used/well loved. Some of the furniture/appliances/decor was just worn out, not what I expect when paying that much per night. Overall, I would definitely stay in this complex again, but would probably look for a different unit.

Good stay but a lot of damage

We enjoyed our stay at the property and the location was great. Unfortunately we noticed a few damaged pieces upon our arrival. A glass light shade was damaged, the lamp upstairs in the bedroom with the bunk beds was was broken, the oven made a weird noise when it was on, a cord to the blinds outside was broken, and there was quite a bit of dog hair on the pillow cases.

Beautiful, large condo in a great location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was as beautiful and spacious as expected in a fabulous location. Very nice furnishings and charming decor in good condition. Comfortable beds and nice linens. The hot tub is in great condition. Our biggest complaint is that we were extremely disappointed there is no shade umbrella on the deck. This unit has one of the few patios in the complex that doesn't get shade from the trees so it was impossible to sit on the deck in the afternoon or to eat dinner or visit on the deck in the evenings. Some minor notes: The carpets are in need of cleaning and all fry pans need to be replaced. Also, only one very small bar of guest soap per bathroom was provided so we had to retrieve the bar from the shower or tub in order to wash hands at the sink, and ended up purchasing our own soap.

Beautiful place and great location!

Beautiful house! Great location! We were really looking forward to the hot tub and the bikes! Unfortunately the hot tub was at 90, low on water, and not very clean when we arrived. I let the turnkey know and it was fixed by day 3 so we only got to enjoy it for one day. The bikes are old and need some love. We would’ve brought more bikes from home if we would’ve known. Luckily Sunriver rents bikes and just about anything else you could ask for. And the property is walking distance to the village. We also wish the SHARC aquatic park was open. It looked like it was ready to be but never opened on the days we were there. All in all great trip! Just bring your own bikes or be prepared to rent!
