Modern cottage charm & walk to Downtown Bend

Welcome to Cascade Cottage! Modern and charming, this sweet Old Mill era home is fully furnished for your Bend adventure. Modern furnishings, updated kitchen, easy dining for 6 inside or outside. You will love the simple clean lines of this updated home! Perfect for lounging, inside and out. Out front, you'll find a sweet porch overlooking the street. Just off of Portland Ave, you'll see lots of neighbors coming and going from downtown by foot, bike and car! Out back is a great grassy lawn that is just perfect for play and a large hot tub for lounging. Bring your bocce ball or a great book!

DOWNTOWN LOCATION
Cascade Cottage is a quick three block stroll to downtown Bend! You will be staying in the great Westside neighborhood between Downtown Bend and the Newport neighborhood. Local favorites just around the corner including Spork, Chow, and local gourmet grocer, Newport Market.

HEATING & COOLING
This home has central heating to keep you warm in the winter and 2 window A/C units to keep you cool in the summer! The window A/C units are located in the largest bedroom and in the living room.

SLEEPING ARRANGMENTS
Cascade Cottage is an updated 2 bedroom (king, queen), 1 bath home that sleeps 6 guests, with the queen sleeper sofa in the living room or a full sleeper in the den. We will provide linens for one, but not both of the sleeper sofas. Fresh linens and pillows are provided for every bed. Please do keep in mind, the 3rd bedroom has a small, full sized sofa that is more suitable for kids then adults. This 3rd bedroom is set up as a TV room and has a door to the backyard.

OUTDOOR SPACES
Outside you'll find a private backyard equipped with a BBQ and supplied propane. Patio table to enjoy your summer meals, and a locked storage unit to store your gear year-round! You'll also find two (2) bikes and helmets in that storage unit for your use! Please bring your helmet for the perfect fit. Due to noise concerns, please be whisper quiet in the backyard and hot tub after 10pm

PARKING
You will have your own private alley parking spot for 1 vehicle, that can be accessed behind the house. There is free on-street parking in front of the home also.

PET FRIENDLY
Cascade Cottage is a pet-friendly home with an enclosed backyard. Pet sheets are provided for furniture. If you plan to bring your sweet pup(s), kindly let us know prior and remember to pick up your piles! A pet fee applies to each reservation.

QUIET HOURS
This home is nestled into a lovely residential neighborhood and is not appropriate for loud and late parties. City of Bend quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am and are enforced as are Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Between 10pm-8am, especially when outside enjoying the decks, please keep noise levels very low and be considerate to our neighbors. Great locations and house. We stayed during the 2021 July heat wave and owner had portable AC units installed which helped a lot.

Great location, but not very clean house

If property manager gave a little more attention to the upkeep of this place, it would be great (loved the backyard), unfortunately there were way too many cleanliness issues to ignore: shower is moldy, there were dirty dishes, the duvet was dirty, there was a bug problem, etc.

Summer Vacation

One of our best Summer vacations as a family. The house was ideally located and close to everything. The house was spotless and well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and the quiet back yard as well as sitting on front deck. It was nice to be able to walk down to town and not have to worry about parking. We went to the High Desert Museum, did the Ghost Tour, Floated down the River, Tumalo Falls, Imax and lots of restaurants, coffee and breweries. Good time was had by all.

Cottage in Bend

I wish I could give this property a 5 star review. The location and amenities were great, but upon arrival the yard had dog poop everywhere! There was also some sort of animal kibble all over the patio and yard. I have a little puppy so I had to spend a lot of time upon check-in picking up those pieces so that my puppy wouldn't eat them. That was really frustrating. I also have two children and all that poop in the yard I had to pick up myself so that nobody would accidentally step in it. What's most disappointing is that as a guest with a pet, you pay an extra fee to stay here - yard cleanup and walking the grass to make sure it's poop free would be nice. I write this review not to bash this cottage because aside from the poop it is a great place to stay, but hopefully the owners will take note to have the housekeepers do a better job in making sure the yard is clean as well.

Great location as easy to walk downtown and gavelston area. Very comfy, clean, and great kitchen space. Lots of sleeping options and the hot tub was a great perk! Great fenced in area for the dogs too.

Amazing Location

My friends and I stayed here for our girl’s night away. The house was cute, clean, well stocked and was in the perfect location for walking to downtown. I slept on the pullout couch and It was incredibly uncomfortable but other than that, it was a great stay.

Easy walk to downtown, private parking in the back of the house, spacious. Overall it was nice...but it could've been cleaner, some of that we forgave given the fires & ash in the area when we visited. But other small things we noticed like the toilet didn't seem secured down so it would move, window blinds were challenging. It seemed to need some extra TLC compared to other places we'd stayed in the area.

Great Central Location

We loved staying in the Cascade Cottage. It was well stocked and we were very comfortable. It was HOT when we were there (over 100 degrees) and we really appreciated the AC unit in the living room. The best part was that we were within walking distance to all the great downtown Bend shops and restaurants.

Nice location. Blocks from downtown the river, etc. minutes to boneyard, which is why you should go to bend. Hot tub is nice, kitchen is great!
