Comfortable, modern and quiet

This lovely modern townhouse had everything we needed for a comfortable break in Bendigo. Close to the centre of town, it was nonetheless quiet and peaceful. Nearby restaurants, pubs and supermarket made catering easy. We enjoyed a great stay.

Our experience at The Great Dane was exceptional from start to finish. Sarah and Daryl were so responsive and accommodating with my questions about places to eat, see and do while planning our visit. The home itself is just stunning. The property is absolutely immaculate with finishing touches that are rare to find in many places. Things such as Google nest homes in the bedrooms, the pantry stocked with spices and teas, Nespresso for my coffee drinking friends, and little additions like plastic wrap were greatly appreciated among many other thoughtful amenities. The beds are so soft and comfortable and the linen was high quality and just luxuriously delicious to dive into. Our stay was all too brief. It was our first visit to Bendigo and we will definitely be back to explore more of what this gem of a town has to offer. Thank you Sarah and Daryl. Rae-Anne, Caroline and Jo. :)

Well equipped and maintained facilities. Near Coles supermarket within walking distance. It could have been better if facility can equip with handheld shower head. It will be easier to wash up the little one. Overall experience for the stay, excellent.

Home away from home

Home away from home. Modern,like a display home. Upon entry it was welcoming like a display home and beautiful scent was welcoming. Cosy comfy beds. Bonus for kids so soft. Crisp clean linen. Clean as.bonus for pet free because of allergies. Better than some 5 star hotels. Lock up garage. Pretty safe and extra bonus with Cole’s down the st. 2 min walk not even. Enjoyed our stay.

Great property for a comfortable stay just outside the city. A well-presented 2 story townhouse style property with 2 large bedrooms, both with separate bathrooms. Nice outdoor area and lock up garage. less than 100 meters to local supermarket and coffee shop. We will stay again over boring hotels, thank you.
