We had a great stay at Motel des Landes. The property is simple but it has everything we needed. We rented an apartment and it had plenty of room for the four of us, including a separate bedroom and a nice patio with table. The kitchenette was very convenient to cook our meals. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We will return!

Very friendly and welcoming reception. Out of hours check in facility. Easy step free access to the room. Ample parking. Good value on site restaurant. Comfortable and clean bed and room temperature control. Very tasty continental breakfast buffet. Some additional pillows in the room would be welcome.

Very clean and served our purpose perfectly as a place to stay while traveling through the area. We were very satisfied. And we were received well at check-in. The only weird thing was that we went for breakfast about 9am. The receptionist (a different man from the evening before) greeted us nicely and offered us breakfast (8euro each) which we accepted (in English) and then he suddenly changed and said there was not enough food left. That we can go eat at a bakery down the street. It was very strange because just minutes before other guests entered the breakfast area and were seated and eating. He changed so suddenly that we doubted that what he said was true. But we simply accepted what he said and went to the bakery down the road for coffee and breakfast, which was great and cheaper. But the experience left us wondering why he suddenly changed (maybe because we are English speakers?... It's still a mystery to us. Although being from Canada we can understand French). That they would run out of food well before the breakfast cut off time when there were very few guests in the motel doesn't seem believable to us. But overall the place was great for a reasonable price. Except that weird incident, we would recommend the place.

it's a roadside motel. so expect a roadside model. the picture obviously was taken in its glory days, but I guess whilst the motel cannot control the grey sky above it can control the sign which is in need of a fresh coat of paint. the area is super convenient for travel, and there is a fabulous bakery across the road (drive thru too) and a wonderful burger restaurant, plus on site there is a good restaurant / bar, the staff were super friendly and you can park right outside your room which gives comfort knowing all your possessions are right outside and you could hear if anyone came near your car, the entrance to the motel isn't gated though but I wasn't concerned as the area was nice enough and far enough out the way that I doubt any wrong doers would be popping by. As for the room perhaps I got short changed, on the plus side the bed itself was crispy clean sheets and comfortable, it had a large window you could open for fresh air and a fantastic air conditioning unit which kept the room super cold which I loved, plus a TV too, the shower was actually a good make so you got a good fairly powerful hot shower (better than some hotels), but the floor was uneven and it meant even the quickest of showers lead to a flood in the shower room, that was really my only gripe, other than that I feel it was slightly over priced for what it was but I cannot fault it for what purpose it served, a place to rest our heads on route elsewhere. so, would I stay again, probably.

Clean property with terrace and parking just at the door. Appreciated to have a kitchenette and a frigobar. The only suggestion to improve the experience would be to decorate a bit the rooms. If not, perfect, everything was new!

Très satisfaite

Très correct ! La propreté et l’hygiène est important et je l’ai retrouvé dans la chambre. Climatisation présente également qui est un plus vu les températures élevées ainsi que la place de parking devant votre chambre ( côté pratique avec des enfants). L’accueil correct également et nous avons testé le restaurant de l’hôtel qui est très agréable et on y mange très bien ! Bonne expérience.
