“What a unique experience getting to stay at this old country store. I admire the owner's desire to preserve a part of history. The property was exceptionally clean, well-supplied and I had a wonderful stay. If I need overnight accommodations in the area, I'll definitely try to stay here again.”

“Beautiful views. Didn’t see any bears lol. We arrived after dark and had some trouble figuring out how to get in but the host was quick to respond. Make sure you know 2nd bathroom is in detached building outside. I missed that in the description. It was a nice place to stay really comfortable beds. Host set up play area at the bottom which was nice for the kids. Porch has a swing for relaxing. Veranda was where I spent a lot of time. I love the rocking chairs. Very peaceful.”

“Smoking room option online. No smoking rooms available once on-site. Told no smoking in room. Bedding and pillows riddled with burn holes. Ceiling paint peeling and dropping, dark along seams. Wall paint peeling and dropping. Toilet backed up after first use, called front desk. Said maintenance man would come, but they never sent anyone to fix. No plunger in room, took back off toilet and manually moved to get some to go down, bowl would not drain. Was able to keep from flowing over but all use……
