Overall this was a great value hotel situated between old town and new town (both within walking distance). The rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh towels and breakfast choices were varied. There is a supermarket approx. 2min walk down the street.

This hotel is a short walk to virtually anywhere you want to be. Bars are not too close which is great for a good night's sleep. Plenty of options for bars nearby. And the old town is approximately a 20 minute none strenuous walk away. Plenty of sun loungers to top up your tan top.

Perfect couple of days getaway!

Breakfast was ok what you expect at a buffet breakfast! Pool was beautiful and no rush for sunbeds which I loved! Staff were all lovely and helpful! Perfect location for the beach, shops and the strip! However far enough away where no noise disturbs you! We will be back next year!

We had a group of 11 saying while on a hen do. The receptionist Jackie was so helpful and welcoming! The rooms were as described and advertised, cleaned well every morning. The pool was great as there was lots of choice of sunbeds throughout the day there was no rush in the morning. The bar was great for drinks however the food service was mixed- on some occasions it was made and brought out quickly however on multiple times there was a mix up of the orders and who the food was given to when made. The breakfast was reasonable and the staff friendly. Only let downs were we requested rooms together but wasn’t able to arrange this and the rooms walls were very thin so throughout the night when people were coming past or talking in the corridor then it would all be heard in the room. Would recommend for groups of hens or birthdays.

Dans l’ensemble, j’ai passé un bon séjour à l’hôtel Castilla. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Le restaurant est bon dans l’ensemble, sans être extraordinaire. Le choix est généralement correct, mais certains jours il y avait assez peu d’options adaptées aux personnes qui ne mangent pas de porc, notamment pour les clients musulmans. La salle de sport est assez basique : quelques haltères, des machines de cardio comme des tapis de course et des vélos, ainsi qu’une station de musculation à poulies. Cette dernière mériterait cependant beaucoup plus d’entretien : les mécanismes manquent clairement de graissage et sont assez difficiles à utiliser. J’ai vraiment eu l’impression qu’elle n’avait pas été entretenue depuis très longtemps. La piscine est également assez petite. Personnellement, je ne l’ai utilisée qu’une seule fois pendant mon séjour. Globalement, l’hôtel reste agréable, mais quelques améliorations au niveau de la salle de sport, de la piscine et de la variété du buffet seraient appréciables.
