The shower drainage was blocked and the staff moved us to another room straight away. On the new room, the shower was ok, however, we found a pair of socks on the floor and one of the power sockets next to our bed wasn't working. Apart from that, the staff was very kind and friendly.

Really cosy, clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke amazing English! Breakfast was delicious and location is very central. Great hotel.

Hidden Gem. A little hard to find but worth the it
Great location near the bryggen and the funicular. A single room is very simple (classic for Europe). No chair and no closet. It is what I expected. One thing could be improved. The "hot" shower was a "warm" shower. Avery nice breakfast with friendly staff. The only criticism was the "hot" tea water. It was warm tea water. Friendly helpful staff who speak English better than some people at home. It is an old but nicely remodeled and maintained.

We liked this hotel very much. It was clean and very conveniently located. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were able to walk from the train station to the hotel and from the hotel to the tram for the airport easily. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Remodeled room and clean
What I saw and my room in particular was recently remodeled and done nicely. It’s a very old building but kept up well. Convenient location. Taxi drivers seem to confuse it with a near by similarly named hotel.

If only had a room with a view
I loved the hotel, great location, great service, great bathroom, clean room, my only complaint was being stuck with an inside room, which was a little snug, and had no view. But everything else made up for it.

We highly recommend The Bergen Harbour Hotel. My wife and I and another couple stayed two nights prior to our cruise departure. The staff was absolutely great! Especially Sirene and Christina. They went out of their way to accommodate our every request and need. It’s a great location very close to the Harbour restaurants and bars.

Excellent location
Pros: excellent location near UNESCO Bryggen, furnicular station, train station and light rail terminal. Room was clean Cons: very small single room and therefore a bit pricey

My fiancé and I absolutely loved this hotel. Very centrally located in downtown Bergen - walking distance to all of the main hot spots and tourist attractions. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was fully equipped. Also the free breakfast was amazing!!

We spent 2 nights in this central nice hotel. Our room was on the 4th floor, with a beautiful harbour view. We loved the location, super central; all the staff members we met all nice and kind with us; the breakfast was with a few different options sweet and savory food; the room was big enough for us; comfortable bed; probably the only thing missing was a coffee machine in the hotel, but outside there were a few different options 😁

Standard double was less than a single. No way to get heat out of room. No room to move. Not suitable for two people, Barely suitable for one person. Staff was excellent and made every effort to be helpful. The staff is the one outstanding aspect of this hotel.

Very hot, with no way to cool room. Standard double was two uneven twins crammed into a space with no walk area on either side, no closet, no place for luggage, tiny area to move around in. Excessively cramped for two people. This was not a standard double. Don't book this hotel.

Small room but excellent location.
The room was small. Shower was very small spreading water all over the bathroom. The location is excellent. Close to all activities, restaurants and tour pickup points.

Fantastic breakfast- great staff and location. Just two blocks of the water meant we were right where we wanted to be but not constantly battling the crowds. Bergen is beautiful and the hotel was just right for our stay.

The location of this hotel could not have been any better! Check in was fine We were able to store and luggage there. when we actually got into a room. I felt the woman that check. The second could have been nicer. Everything we asked for seem to be a big problem. The breakfast was wonderful.

Great Location - Friendly Staff
Great location to walk to everything in Bergen. Restaurants and Cafes 1-2 minute walk. Bergen Harbour 3 minute walk. Easy to walk to Sentra Train Station and to Trams. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room serviced everyday. There is a bar and restaurant on site (although we didn’t use either). The breakfast offering were limited and the space was a bit cramped. Would have liked more fruit, yoghurt, cereal options. Like most hotels, the coffee was unfortunately awful. But plenty of cafes nearby. The twin room was plenty big enough. Only one chair to sit in, could do with two. Little fridge and kettle were handy.
