Great hot tub!

We enjoyed the outside sitting areas and the hot tub. The kitchen is well equipped, and the house was very clean. Unfortunately beds were not the most comfortable and very firm, maybe adding a mattress topper would help? We also thought this location was closer to the park, because it is listed as walkable. There is a lot of traffic on the road with not a lot of sidewalk.

Short WV getaway

We had a wonderful visit for Memorial Day weekend. The house is wonderful with updated bathrooms, kitchen, W/D and even a fire pit and hot tub. Pretty much everything you need, can “unplug” if you want but we did have enough Wi-Fi for what we wanted to do. Great location, a short walk to Berkeley Springs park and pools and lots of kitschy fun shops. Several good eating places nearby and stores are convenient if you forget something. Cacapon SP a short drive away and also movies, bowling, billiards and brewpubs. Very pleasant, dark and quiet at night and a large front porch for watching summer thunderstorms roll through. Highly recommended!

Our Stay

Overall our stay was great! The bed comfortable and the house was pretty clean. I was kind of surprised by the multiple ACs. They worked great and were fine for our stay but it might get kind of warm peak summer time. The house is neat as it’s an older home and we both enjoy character. I will give a heads up that a neighbor does have a confederate flag hanging on their residence which did make us feel uncomfortable and does not fit the vibes of Berkeley Springs so it was a shock to see that. They did not bother us at all but I felt the need to give a heads up during these times. Overall this was perfect for our stay and the property management company was responsive and the women I spoke with when looking for the WiFi code was so nice too! I’d stay at one of their properties again.
