This is a wonderful cabin! The property is well maintained and communication with the owner/host/property manager was top notch. This will likely be our go-to getaway cabin as we live nearby.

Found this cabin to be cute and comfortable. Nice surroundings with deer, turtles, birds and squirrel. Would return again!

Wonderful place for a getaway!

Really nice space, very cozy with great location. Very close to Cacapon State Park. Nicely appointed. Owners are extremely friendly and responsive to questions. We want to go back!

The water source isn't the best..it takes a while to get your water hot and the flow is very slow. If u flush the downstairs toilet the upstairs didn't want to flush.

Very disappointing. It is very remote in the middle of a forest with no front or back yard. Killer on your car getting there. House was ok. Bathrooms need updated. No coffee mugs or steak knives. We were there in the middle of the week and were not told that most restaurants are closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Only good thing was our spa treatments. Other than that not much to do. Not a place we will visit again.

We were a group of 4, we were given 4 towels for our one week stay….with no W/D. It took over 12 texts with management to get more towels. Several light bulbs were burned out upon our arrival. Although we asked for replacement bulbs several times we never received them. With no overhead light in living room, and the dining room light without several working bulbs, it was pretty dark inside the cabin. Never again.

The cabin was great. The only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars was not the facility but we arrived after dark and there were no exterior lights on and it was a steep climb up to the main floor and we couldn’t see if we had an animal visiting us. Also the sliding glass doors to the porch could not be locked (a serious security issue). It seemed to lock but if you try to open it a second time it opens right up. The door was unlocked when we arrived - don’t think this is a new problem, the locking mechanism was old. As I said the cabin itself was wonderful, we all said we would gladly stay there again. I’m sure the lock will be fixed immediately. Suggest a motion light or two outside for visitors who arrive after dark.
