"Came for a birthday weekend and were blown away, the views are better in person than pictures could ever show. Clean, cozy, comfortable place with views for miles, just everything youd want for a couples weekend in the mountains. Tons of trails, hiking, history, Berkeley Springs and Cacopan state park 15 minutes away. FANTASTIC!!!"

"The schoolhouse was like stepping back in time. I loved all the special touches and attention to detail! The place was very clean and comfortable with an excellent mattress! The neighborhood was quiet and the location was perfect for us as we were visiting our son in Charles Town but also wanted some time in Shepherdstown. It was so easy to get in touch with our host if needed. Great stay!!"

"My family and I booked this place for our Thanksgiving dinner. It was very well stocked! The kitchen is beautiful, and there is plenty of space for everyone! The basement was well stocked for the kids and kept them occupied even on a rainy day. Beds were comfortable. Be warned about gathering in the living room at night, as the master bedroom is a loft and can hear everything happening in the living room. Overall a gorgeous place that has all the amenities one could ask for. We want to come back...

"This is just what my partner and I wanted. The cabin is cozy, clean and comfortable on a peaceful, well-maintained property, surrounded by nature. The fireplace operates on gas, so you won’t need firewood. If you plan on doing some cooking, you might want to bring a good chef’s knife, but the kitchen is pretty well equipped. No complaints! Perhaps we’ll return"

"We really enjoyed our stay at the house for a ski weekend. The main room and the kitchen were absolutely lovely - just such a nice place to relax and hang with the family. The rooms were all nice, except that one of the kings is in the loft without a door and facing the living room. Otherwise the downstairs area for the kids was perfect - away from us so we could sleep and they could hang out playing air hockey and games downstairs outside the 2 rooms. We enjoyed every amenity this home had to offer - from the hot tub, pool table, well-stocked kitchen, comfy beds to the gorgeous views from the deck. Our hosts were attentive and helpful. Sharing good times in this incredible home is just what we needed! Highly recommend!"

"We really enjoyed the property. It was clean. Internet worked well. Washer and dryer was nice. Too cold to enjoy the hot tub for me. My suggestions are a new shower head, thank goodness I didn’t have to wash my hair. The flow is too spread out and not enough to efficiently rinse as you shower. Second is a cheaper Kcup machine would be nice. Traveling with ground coffee is not really ideal for a quick trip away. Third thing I suggest is two beach towels (minimum) for the use of the hot tub.
