The hotel is well worth its price, which is actually quite cheap. The hotel was clean and the staff are very friendly. I was greeted with welcome drink when I enter the hotel room. The design of the room is also elegant, great for taking photos. The area is near the city centre and accessible to all kinds of public transport. Overall, a really good hotel!

This hotel has to be one of the best examples of price/performance that I have stayed in in Germany. The staff was awesome, the breakfast buffet was the best I have had in a while, the price point of the rooms was great. Also the location to the Wittenberg Platz UBahn, directly next to KaDeWe and the Kufürstendam, and 10-15 minutes to the Aquarium and Zoo makes the Mercure unbeatable in my eyes. Thank you to everyone there!

Wir haben zwei Nächte im Hotel verbracht. Beim Verlassen des Zimmers am Mittag habe ich an der Rezeption ausdrücklich darum gebeten, dass unser Zimmer gereinigt werden kann. Man bestätigte mir, dass dies erledigt werde. Als wir jedoch am Abend ins Hotel zurückkehrten, war das Zimmer nicht gereinigt. solch eine Nachlässigkeit ist bei einem Aufenthalt von zwei Nächten wirklich nicht akzeptabel. Außerdem gibt es keinen eigenen Parkplatz. Man wird zum KaDeWe Parkhaus weitergeleitet, das jedoch sehr teuer ist. Insgesamt bin ich von der Organisation und dem Service enttäuscht.

the good: the room was great, had a view of the square; the breakfast; and almost all the staff (Stephanie, Nadine, & Marko) the bad: Mohit at the front desk. I have stayed in over a hundred hotels and he is the rudest staff member I have ever encountered. By far. When i walked up with my luggage he said "There are no rooms available". A bizarre thing to say. It was downhill from there. He was rude every time we spoke, and I was always pleasant. I was on vacation. That is not someone who should be the face of the hotel.
