"I cannnot begin to tell you how wonderful and lovely this place was, and how much we appreciated a CLEAN, SAFE, COMFORTABLE and extremely spacious space to unwind for a couple of nights! The host was the sweetest little lady ever, going above and beyond to make us feel warm and welcomed. "Our room was in very good condition, almost as if it had just been refurbished. Air con worked really well, bed very comfortable. Underground car park was huge, very well-lit and easy to access. The bar was a bit odd. Closing time was 10.30 pm, which is OK, but we were told that at 10.30 we would have to vacate the bar area! Didn't have breakfast there as 19 Euro charge per person for continental breakfast is excessive. All of us in our party walked out to a local Café and had an equivalent breakfast for considerably less money. However, if I was in the area again, I would stay there because of the parking and nice room. Definitely eat out though."

"Breakfast is included and compared to included breakfast at other hotels it is oustanding. Lot's of great choices. Our room was on the small side, but it had a very nice shower. Everything was clean and in great condition. There is a bus stop on the street right in front of the hotel, which takes you directly to downtown Konstanz. Bus fares are included with your stay."

"A beautiful old hotel in the heart of the pedestrian part of the town. You do have to walk up a steep hill or many steps though if you go down to the lake! My only criticism would be there is absolutely no fresh air in the bedroom, I realise it's an old hotel so I'm not sure how you would change that..... The car parking is also a bit of a walk from the hotel, but you can unload before going to the parking area."

"The room was clean and comfortable, The staff were friendly and helpful. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but staff helpfully supplied a kettle when requested. Hotel was a pleasant 20 minutes walk along the river to the old town and public transport options are also available, A very pleasant stay."
