「Our stay was very nice. We felt safe in the house because of the off street parking, and multiple locked doors. The stairs up to the room were a little tricky to use. The neighborhood made me feel a little weary, but the street this listing was on felt safer than the others. Overall, the place served our purpose for our stay, and it was enjoyable and homey.」

「When I arrived, the apartment was spotless. The host showed me where the thermostat was, so I was able to switch between AC and heat (Jersey in spring...prepare for all 4 seasons!). There is a family living upstairs, but they leave you alone and are so quiet, it's easy to forget someone lives upstairs. In my encounters with them, they were super nice. I would highly recommend this location, and would not hesitate to rent this apartment again.」

「The host is very nice and responsive. But...No paper towels or hand soap. No way to control the temperature. It was 66 and we were all pretty cold as the temp outside was 30 or below. Fireplace does not bring up the temp. The property smells like cigarette smoke. There were plenty of air freshners but those combined with the smoke odor really flared my allergies. It was very strong to me- but it may not bother someone else.」
