Malgré les fortes chaleurs, la maison est restée agréablement fraîche et nous n’avons eu besoin ni de la climatisation ni d’un ventilateur, ce qui a été très appréciable. "No communications. Hidden costs, held to ransom after arrival to get keys. Dirty And worst of all no bed sheets , pillow cases or duvet covers. When asked where they were was told not listed in ad and hung up on. Agreed the listing didn’t say bedding included but didn’t say it wasn’t and for the expensive cost I would have expected it. This is basically a PGL style bunk house. Avoid at all costs."

"Loved the hotel . Amazing location . Would have liked it if they had coffee in the morning for the guests . Walkable to all restaurants. Easy to walk to pick up locations for tours . Clean . Nice bathroom . Our room was not air conditioned but they had a fan . With the window open it was cool at night ."

"The location of the hotel was perfect. It was right in the middle of the main street with lots of dining options nearby. The hotel was also quiet and had a spacious breakfast area. We enjoyed the World War II artifacts throughout the hotel. It was like a mini museum in the hotel. There was also a little grocery store right next-door, which was handy for getting water bottles and snacks. The hotel also offered a shuttle to Mont Saint Michel and the meeting place for our World War II tour was just around the corner from the hotel. It was about a 10 minute flat walk from the train station."

"Beautiful hotel - classic grand european hotel. On the one side you have the beach and the other side you are right in the center of town. Perfect location. If you plan on using the beach cabanas or chairs you should reserve before you arrive - they sell out well in advance on busy days."

"Downside was that it was a bit hard to find, and there were no instructions prior to arriving to access the gate/ car park. The room was good value for money, basic breakfast but good for what we wanted. Best part was the receptionist who was amazing at recommending where to eat that was more authentic and where to explore the Chateaux- we wouldn’t have found it without her fantastic directions and even circling on the map for us!"
