Mountain View is a charming trailside vacation home perfect for multiple families or small groups. The home features 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main level, with a kitchen, dining area, living room, and an additional bathroom on the upper level.

The living room boasts large windows that offer breathtaking views of the fork where two ski trails meet—widely regarded as one of the best views in the U.P.! The space is warm and inviting, with a beautiful brick fireplace, a comfortable sofa sleeper, and cozy furnishings. Patio doors open to a deck with a gas grill, where you can relax and enjoy the slopes.

For relaxation, there's a sauna on the main level, and Wi-Fi is available throughout the home.

Mountain View offers easy access to Lifts #2 & #3 along the Flintlock Trail and Lift #4 along the Trigger Trail, making it the perfect spot for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. For added convenience, a landline phone and 4 Smart TVs with availability to streaming services.

Disappointing

Properyy felt dirty with old stained carpeting and outside picture of house made it look newer then it was on the inside.Bedrooms were cold because thermostat was upstairs. Would not be my first choice when I go back to Michigan.

Perfect winter family cottage!

This VRBO was a perfect size & location for a weekend of skiing in Michigan! The property is very clean and has everything that you need for the weekend! Peaceful, convenient location

Our group of 7 stayed here for our summer family vacation. The house was very comfortable in a very peaceful and relaxing setting. It was so conveniently located to explore and partake in many activities, from biking on the Manitowish Waters trail, kayaking on Giles Flowage, swimming at Sunday Lake and hiking Presque Isle, Black River Harbor Rec Area, Lake of the Clouds and Copper Falls. We looked forward to returning to the house after a full day of fun. It was absolutely perfect!

1 hour away from Porcupine Mountain hiking trails. Groceries and gas nearby. Hot showers, very comfortable upstairs living room. This house felt luxurious after a day on the trails. Television was a little hard to figure out but we connected lap top via our own HMI cable.

Ski getaway!

Perfect ski in ski out house. Will equipped kitchen, nice comfortable accommodations. We enjoyed the fireplace and Sauna after skiing. Only thing missing was a blow dryer!😉 enjoyed our stay, it was perfect.

Fall a beautiful time to be there

The house had good energy! Clean, warm, cozy and beautiful location! Only concern really was running out of Propane in the middle of grilling and there is no bin for recycling (so we mostly carried it out). Loved using the sauna after a day trip to see the falls and Lake of the Clouds. Would’ve loved to stay longer and will return for sure! Thank you!
