"Great location in the Red River Gorge/Natural Bridge/Daniel Boone National Forest area. The office is in the coffee shop up the street and the lady that checked us in was super nice. The room itself was basic, but that's all we needed. "

"Good place for the money, great view, fairly private. Gated entrance is awesome. Had a very clear night the first night and was able to soak in the hot tub and look at all the stars, very cool experience. The place itself needs some work inside. The bed is awful, every movement made a loud squeaking sound. The flooring is separated in some spots in the kitchen. Walking barefoot made my feet black, dust bunnies in the corners and the shower curtain has mold around the bottom. Some of the jets didn't work in the hot tub and it's super slow to heat up, but the water was clear and looked clean. There was a mouse that ran through the kitchen, kind of put a damper that night, but you are in a cabin in the woods, soooo....... The kitchen could use some better cookware, we brought our own because it's not the first cabin we've stayed in, but the selection is terrible. Overall it's a great value for a great spot, but needs a little TLC. "

"This cabin was the best of cabins we've reserved through VRBO. Clean, well stocked and it just made us happy! Appreciated the layout of the cabin with the kitchen and living area being in the center and two bedrooms with full baths being on opposite ends. Loved the fire pit, star gazing and hot tub. Gravel road to the cabin was well marked and the owner gave great tips on navigating to the cabin as well as eating, shopping and traversing local roads.Nada tunnel is a must see! Takes a little over 40 minutes to get to Slade and the visitor center for Red River Gorge area. We experienced wonderful KY hospitality wherever we went.Ate at Miguel's which was average at best but enjoyed their large T-shirt selection. We felt better about our meal at the Hungry Hiker. Would highly recommend this cabin, host and the surrounding area."
