Cleanliness was second to none, so if that's what concerns you when travelling, then Eagle house is for you its spotless. Andy and Helen are great hosts and very welcoming. The town is just a short walk with some lovely pubs and restaurants to choose from. Overall a fabulous stay."

"We didn’t even get out of our car , The front of the premises was not even signed as accommodation, there was litter outside plus bins and broken glass on the pavement. Area covered with graffiti. Didn’t even want to leave the car in the area."

"Slightly unusual place to stay in that it feels more like a bar that is never open than a hotel. A bit like you have walked into someone's private party. The bedroom was fine but the place has a hard to explain atmosphere. The hotel front door is often locked and you have to unlock it with some weird combination lock. Breakfast is freshly cooked and very nice but it does take some time (25 minutes), so you need to allow for that, and doesn't start until 7:30. Parking opposite on the street and...

"Absolutely shocking stay. No confirmation email prior to arrival or key safe number. Spent an hour trying to contact them. When we finally got through we were about 1 hour from our location in Crewe, to be told sorry the room that you have booked has had a flood in the en suite. We have another property you can have a nice room with a lovely T.V in Stoke on Trent. I had an army reunion in Crewe why would I want to stay in Stoke???
