“We had a memorable stay at this historical castle that has been sympathetically renovated. The owners were very nice and welcoming. The room, like the rest of the hotel, was very stylishly rustic. There is a nice good sized swimming pool with plenty of good quality sun loungers. The surrounding land is pretty and peaceful. There aren't many staff but the hotel operates an honesty type service for drinks (you take drinks from the bar and put your room number to be charged on checkout. The prices……

“Beautiful hotel out in the quiet countryside, very peaceful unless they are having an event ( they do weddings) but these are nice affairs and it’s nice to see how the Spanish do weddings. But after 1100am all quite so well controlled by the hotel. This really is a unique and quite divine hotel, we stayed in the main building with our Dogs but you can stay in one of the eight chalet time apartments they have on the grounds which looked beautiful with fantastic views to all sides. “The property was a beautiful country home a near wonderful hiking trails and a short drive from either Valencia or Alicante. Our hosts (Macu and Jose Luis) were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They provided maps and points of interest in the area and, although we would often return late in the evening, there was always someone awake to greet us upon our arrival. The rooms and beds were quite comfortable and the breakfast was plenty hardy to get us moving in the morning. We highly recommend……
