Altogether a very nice hotel, in a very convenient position. If arriving by car, it can be a little tricky to navigate to somewhere close enough to the hotel to unload your luggage, however, the location of the hotel is excellent for exploring Biarritz

Biarritz is a goood place to stay.
The staff were incredibly helpful, generous and thoughtful, they made our stay a positive experience. The hotel is in a great location for a brief stay in Biarritz. Our rooom was at the front of the hotel and we stayed at the hotel over a public holiday weekend so it was a little noisy in the evenings. We both found the bed was a little too soft. But the staff really made our stay enjoyable.

Very helpful staff. We had a problem with our luggage being broken so the manager took it upon himself to drive to the local airport in order to speak directly to someone that could help us resolve the issue. Everyone has been very friendly making us feel at home. They hosted a “happy hour” with free tapas and drinks. Great location along the beach.

This hotel is centrally located and perfect for our short time in Biarritz. Sylvan greeted us and was our only contact during our stay. From our welcome drink and helpful restaurant recommendations along with friendly manner, we would definitely recommend this hotel.

the smallest room in town
Our second visit to this hotel. The location is brilliant, the staff friendly and helpful. Our first visit in July was super, so we decided to come back in September - a disappointment! The room we were given this time was so small that one of us had to go into the bathroom when the other wanted access to the wardrobe! Open the door and jump into bed was the motto! Surely not acceptable for a 4star hotel and for guests which are staying for 8 days

Nice staff. Owner was very friendly and spent some time living in the US for school so was easy to communicate if you don't speak French. Clean rooms and great location in the middle of it all. I would stay here again for sure. Would recommend calling ahead to find a parking area close by if you are driving. Nice lobby bar to chill and chat to the staff, who were all very friendly.

Hotel Georges VI
I had a lovely stay. The folks at reception were particularly friendly and chatty. Its a charming hotel in a good location. As with other, smaller European hotels, it did not provide a coffee maker in the room which is always a bit of a disappointment.

Ideal spot for a mini break
The hotel is in an excellent place by the sea and within short walking distance of the old town. The staff are polite, and speak excellent English; happy to help with recommendations and small tasks (calling cabs, etc). Beds are comfortable, showers are powerful, clean and roomy. A great place at a great price.

The staff was friendly and helpful and the lobby bar was open late!! The rooms are claustrophobically tiny!! We had two areas in our room where the sloping ceiling was less than head high!!

Comfortable but not spacious. The sloping ceiling, in some of our rooms, is one of the features our guests enjoy the most, because it makes the rooms very cozy. It's entirely understandable why so many comments on Hotel Georges VI remain in the excellent and superb. We had a splendid time there and Biarrritz is an enchanting city.with a vibrant street and beach life. The Atlantic rollers coming into the harbour are unparalleled for any surfer and despite the season we will be returning. The property was located conveniently just steps away from the beach and in the heart of all the action on Biarritz. The front desk staff is friendly and helpful and beautifully decorated, spacious lobby with a bar and breakfast dining area. The room is cozy but pretty small. I would recommend staying here on your visit to Biarritz!

Good time in Biarritz
Great location in a very lively part of town with great eating and shops nearby. Room was wonderfully quiet being at the back. Nicely decorated and very clean. Evening staff made us very welcome. Did not have breakfast as we thought it expensive. However regretted decision as breakfast was almost as expensive in most cafes.

We enjoyed the hotel. Breakfast is good value when you see the price of French breakfast locally. The front of house staff on the morning we left sadly not very helpful re Airport bus. Suggested a taxi and said quicker than the bus and 20E. We found the bus ,10 mins away 1E each and 20 mins. Cost not the issue just lack of correct info.

Fantastic stay
Fantastic location, 10 second walk to the cove and restaurants with view of the sunset. Room with balcony over looking busy street but yet so quiet and peaceful. Cosy lounge area and lovely breakfast. Private courtyard could be in the countryside, no noise of the hustle and bustle outside. Amazing restaurants and bars within touching distance. Will definitely stay again.

Beautiful hotel in beautiful coastal town!
Wonderful stop on our way to St Jean Pied de Port for el Camino. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to everything! Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Staff were friendly, room was small but clean, comfortable and adequate.However, the downside was the difficulty in finding the hotel and No Parking. We had to walk 400 metres to Public Car Park, not convenient in the rain

A very pleasant oasis near the beach
We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very close to the beach and had a lovely tranquil courtyard where you could escape the busy old town. The staff were warm and helpful. The room was quite small and old fashioned but it was clean and comfortable.

Very close to the beach and downtown
The hotel staff were extremely helpful in helping us get to bus station and finding good places to eat and things to see. The room was a little small but very clean and comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.
