I love the apartment and the location was perfect.
Unfortunately, communication was very poor.
There were some issues I intended to communicate to the hosts but my emails and texts were mostly ignored.
Checking was poor, we were not given the code to get into the building after hours. ( luckily a resident gave it to us).
Basic supplies ( hygienic paper) was missing. I was finally advised by the manager that it’s my job to buy it.
Coming from the USA , we are not used to having to think about shopping for toilet paper for a two day stay.
Other than that Biarritz is a great town, which I have visited many times.
Next time , I will try to find a host that owns the property, instead of a management firm.
They are usually more attentive to guest needs.
What was baffling there was no attempt at trying to solve my issues and definitely never an apology.
