"Lovely welcome as always. Hotel is super convenient for the motorway and an overnight stop on a long journey. The room was clean and well presented and the bed very comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble. The evening dinner food was delicious and the service at Dinner was excellent and friendly. Highly recommend this little gem. "

"The flat had most things we required but would have been nice to have a sun umbrella and beach towels available. Bidart is a lovely area with great beaches and seafood restaurants nearby. "

"La Frégate feels like a weathered beach lodge. It is clean and comfortable and the ocean view (and constant sound of the waves) is everything! The staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice (for an additional €13) and the reception area features a full bar, where you can conveniently order a café or cocktail. The local buses go into Bayonne, Biarritz, Guethary or Saint Jean de Luz. Bedding and bathroom were comfortable. I wish the balcony windows had screens, as small flies appeared on warmer days. But overall, it was a wonderful stay. We recommend this hotel. "
