We stayed here one night as part of a trip across the mountains and it was absolutely perfect. It's situated in the middle of the town next to the police station which I was happy with because I felt safe leaving the motorbikes there .

Very pleasant stay

We had such a nice accommodation in Auberge Koskenia. We were passing by on our way to Bilbao. The staff was really nice and the room was lovely, clean and warm as well. There is a delicious restaurant downstairs of the hotel too. Highly recommended place such as Bidart itself.

Lovely small town with great views of the Atlantic and the Mountains. We enjoyed a lovely meal, drinks & breakfast on the terrace. The auberge was friendly, clean & well equipped. We will definitely return.

Great find

Perfectly located hostel. Clean, good food, friendly staff, popular with the locals. Overall a great place for the price. Sunrise over the mountains and sunsets over the sea, location could not be better.

Great location, very scenic

Nice room in great location. slightly noisy (it’s on the main square), but fine otherwise. Had a small problem with an odor (probably coming from shower). We mentioned it to the staff and they say they would attend to it.

If you are a female solo traveller, DO NOT STAY HERE. This is the only hostel I’ve been to where they had no storage lockers. Neither inside or outside the room. So if you arrive hours before check-in, you have to lug your stuff around in the heat. Next, I asked if they could order me a taxi and they said no. What kind of hotel doesn’t order taxis? I was alone and because I didn’t speak French they treated me so poorly. They had zero amenities. No kitchen, common area, absolutely nothing I needed. Not social at all, extremely isolating. This was the worst place I stayed my entire trip. Also, the room is so small you can barely move. Hated this place, worst service ever

Die Zimmer gehören zu einem Restaurant, man kann also auch sehr gut gleich dort essen. Alles super und sauber. Zimmer haben Klimaanlage. Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man ist direkt im im Zentrum. Gut erreichbar mit dem Bus von Biarritz. Absolut zu empfehlen.

Ambiance décontracté mais sans retiré l'efficacité

La personne à l'accueil était très agréable à notre arrivée, idem pour les serveurs du Bar et du restaurant. Bonne ambiance , bon contact et ambiance décontracté avec beaucoup d'humour (comme chez des amis). Le service efficace et les plats simple mais très savoureux. Nous avons déposé la carte de la chambre le matin avant l'ouverture de l'accueil et nous avons été reçu par les femmes de ménage qui elles aussi ont été très gentilles .

Hôtel très agréable

Joli petit hôtel dans le centre de Bidart. Chambre confortable et calme. Personnel très sympathique et arrangeant. Un parking juste devant et un restaurant en dessous, ainsi que quelques autres autour. Petit bémol, petit déjeuner délicieux à 9h, un peu tardif.

Schönes Hotel - Essen leider nicht empfehlenswert

Wirklich schöne Lage - allerdings dadurch sehr sehr laut bis in die Nacht hinein. Die Zimmer sind wirklich schön für Familien, auch wenn die Badezimmertüre sich nicht gut schließen lässt. Wir waren abends noch im Restaurant essen, leider hatten heute 3 (die das gleiche gegessen haben) Durchfall und Magenschmerzen, daher konnten wir das Frühstück nicht mehr wirklich genießen.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend! Die Umgebung war schön und das Essen im Restaurant sehr lecker. Leider war die Klimaanlage defekt und somit viel zu warm zum schlafen. Da draußen ein belebtes Nachtleben herrscht, bzw unser Fenster in Hüfthöhe direkt an einem öffentlichen Parkplatz war, konnten wir dies nicht während der Nacht unbeaufsichtigt geöffnet lassen. An Schlaf war leider erst ab ca 2 Uhr zu denken. Durch diese kurze Nacht auf der Durchreise, hat dieser Aufenthalt leider mehr geschlaucht als das er Erholung gebracht hätte. Außerdem war bei der Buchung über die Expedia App nicht ersichtlich, dass es nur begrenzte Parkmöglichkeiten 24 Std/ 36€ gibt und selbst diese alle besetzt waren. 15 Min Fußweg von einem eher abgelegenen und unüberwachten Parkplatz mit gepacktem Wagen, waren schon etwas riskant. Dafür war es dann leider doch etwas zu teuer.

La quiétude d'un Village Basque

J'ai aimé découvrir l'ambiance avenante d'un village du Pays Basque où tout est à proximité et où beaucoup ont dansé sur la Grande Place en ce Dimanche.L'Auberge est Agréable et le Personnel très aimable. Prévoir boules quiès et masque de nuit si vous voyager en Budget dortoir à partager.
