「Barely adequate. Awkward, narrow spaces and unsafe for anyone with balance or vision issues. Chain lock on entry door not attached securely to wall. Trim board just pulls away from wall. How about some 3" screws that hit the stud! Soft kitchen floor with hole (trip hazzard)Not a comfortable chair in the place. Pillows hard as a rock and beds very uncomfortable.Overall, your typical OOB rental. Only invest enough in the property to make it look good in pictures, sell the location and the beach...

「The host and cohost were so helpful and friendly. The place was an older apartment that was very clean and we were very comfortable.」

「Fabulous property, clearly well-loved/tended by the owner/host. So many wonderful amenities on this pet-friendly property. The hosts also sent us an incredible list of restaurants (local and into the Portland area) as well as hiking and swimming suggestions. We loved getting to bring our pup to Bayview Beach, a real Maine gem!」

「Good location and very clean.Issues: window shade was poorly installed and fell on me every time I tried to adjust it.The bed was sub-par and there was no remote to the living room TV. Otherwise, the room was adequate.」

「Excellent studio apartment close to the beach. Stocked with all essentials for a great vacation. Very tastefully appointed and clean. Thank you.」

「We ended up staying only one night although we had booked 5 nights. The location and amenities were fine, but the fact that the bedrooms were upstairs and the bathroom down a rather steep flight of stairs, was something we hadn't expected and weren't comfortable with (bad knees). Also of note is that to get to the second bedroom, one has to walk through the first bedroom; and the upstairs could also be cooled only with a (very loud) standing air conditioner in the second bedroom. Luckily it was...

「Great place to stay and so close to the beach. Everything provided for a pleasant stay. Very cozy and just right for two people. Highly recommended.」

「It’s very reasonable for the price, quite cozy. Communicating with the owner was very pleasant and always quick to respond. Only downside was parking. The place has 6-7 units and parking is very limited, sometimes you get a parking spot and then the next time you’re trying to figure out where to park. The units are well numbered although be nice to have a little direction of where to enter. Overall, nice stay, clean and very close to anything you may need.」

「This is a pet friendly cottage with close proximity to the beach and within walking distance of the pier and amusements of Old Orchard Beach. The property is VERY rustic but very clean with a lot of towels and comfortable beds. Our biggest complaint is that the internet is weak and unreliable. This is a problem for anyone who needs to work remotely or if your kids want to watch TV on a rainy day or in the evening. This property met most of our basic needs.」

「Very cute unit, with everything you need for a stay at the beach. Steps away from the beach allowed us to leave for lunch and and occasional bathroom break. About a 10 minute walk to the pier, so close to the action, but far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a much needed getaway」

「Fantastic location steps to the ocean. Unit was clean, easily accessible and well stocked. Parking spot was tight but doable.」

「Great location and glad there is reserved parking. Would be good to have entry door code on arrival instructions」
