Big Bear Experience

The cabin was fairly close the Bear Mountain and had ample parking for multiple cars unlike some other VRBO’s in the area. The owner is very accommodating and contacted us immediately to run through the cabin to get us acquainted with the cabin. It slept 6-7 adults with an extra roll away to spare. Overall a great experience!

Big Bear With A Superb Mountain Cabin Feel

The cabin owner was amazing! He communicated well, and gave us an extensive tour over the phone upon our arrival. He also told us to call him 24-7 if we had any questions or issues. The cabin was well maintained and stocked with necessities. We did have to make a run into town because the cleaning service failed to stock dishwasher detergent pods for our stay. For a cabin less than 1000 square feet, the rooms were adequate and the family room area was roomy and cozy for four adults and two children. The LED televisions in the family room and spa room were amazing! My only complaint was the bathroom situation and the fact the listing description on VRBO was vague quoting two bathrooms. This cabin only had one full bathroom inside the house. The other bathroom was outside in the spa room, across the backyard, which meant you have to walk through the snow and cold to access it. The outside bathroom wasn’t even a half-bath. It only contained a toilet (no shower) and a sink we were told upon arrival that we couldn’t use because the lines would freeze with the cold weather. I would definitely return with just my family of four!
