“The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. ”

“Fantastic hotel with large, clean rooms, a good breakfast, and a beautifully illuminated swimming pool. The staff were very helpful, especially the receptionist/manager who seemed to be working there 24 hours a day. 😉 Cons: the gym was poorly equipped. We were also sent to La Plantation pepper factory, which felt like a tourist trap — daylight robbery in white gloves. A terrible place. I recommend choosing other plantations run by local farmers rather than French colonial-style businesses.”

“The rooms were spotless and staff was very friendly and helpful. The resort is large and laid out in a forest setting with covered raised open air walkways. There were bikes you could ride from your room to the very large pool area, We took kayaks down the small river behind the resort and it was like a jungle river trip with huge trees and lush forest all around. The pool is large with shady areas around. We stayed six nights all told. The restaurant food was very good. A couple of……

“Clean and modern, Kampot is so small almost anywhere is convenient. My only warning is a lack of power outlets near the desk. After changing rooms and providing an extension cord this was easily solved, but initially I was told to string a cord across the first room (right across the entrance), which would have also eliminated the solo outlet for the refrigerator. Glad they worked with me”

“The Staff was very helpful. We left an unused pool towel outside the night before and they did their best to try and find it. The location is excellent with an easy and safe walk to many restaurants along the riverfront.”

“Our stay was great : the hotel itself has a nice setup with different pools and an access to the river. The common space are big, in the shades most of the time and well maintained. The food was unexpectedly great, like really really good. The room was good, with everything needed to have a good night. Would definitely stay again !”
