"I was in the Big Falls area looking for boreal-forest birds, and, with that in mind, this property is in an excellent location: less than a mile to County Rd. 13, nine miles to the Toumey-Williams Forest Rd., and 15 miles to Pine Island Forest Rd.Other pluses for this property include the following.(1) The property owner is very responsive - answers your texts quickly and is quite helpful.(2) Because the property has a full kitchen, you can prepare your own food; or you can bring premade food and cook it on the stovetop or heat it up in the oven or microwave. This is important, given that the dining options in Big Falls (pop. 200) are limited.(3) The bed, and so sleeping, is comfortable.(4) It's quiet - another factor favoring good sleep.(5) The property is clean.(6) The air conditioner does a fine job of keeping the property cool.(7) The toilet flushes powerfully."
Bald Beaver Lodge A hunting, Fishing, 4-wheeling, Snowmobiling paradise!

"We loved our 3 nights at the Bald Beaver Lodge. Plenty of space and activities for our multigenerational family gathering of 2 grandparents, 4 adult children plus spouses, and 7 grandchildren under the age of 10. We rode 4 wheelers, watched movies, relaxed in the massage chairs, played endless games on the beautiful custom dining table, picked raspberries, pingpong, arcades, watched the most beautiful rainstorm on the wraparound porch, and prepared 3 meals a day in the well stocked kitchen. We even smoked a few roasts in the smoker, an unexpected bonus. We never saw another person on the trails—had the property and its surroundings all to ourselves. Incredible beauty and wildlife! The owner was absolutely responsive to every need, even mailing a left purse to our home. Highly recommend this hidden gem!"

"We had 10 people on vacation and stayed here for a week and it was a great vacation. The cabin was perfect, our kids loved the deer and fish mounts on the wall. The bedrooms accommodate all of us! We definitely didn’t need to bring any of our kitchen supplies because the cabin had everything that we needed and more! They had plenty of kid toys and games to keep the them occupied which was a bonus. Plus they had a lot of beach toys and outdoors games for everyone to use. The beach was great for swimming and the dock was nice to have to dock my boat. When we arrived to the cabin and before going inside, all the kids and adults were wanting to book it for next summer already! The beach, yard, cabin, fishing and views of the lake were incredible. Looking forward to coming back next year!!"

"What an amazing property and tiny house! The tiny has was easy to find and get into thanks to clear communication from the host. The freshly baked banana bread was an awesome touch(: Kaila went above and beyond helping us find the place and recommending things around town. The house had everything you could need with its tiny kitchen, smart TV, and organized bathroom. I’d absolutely recommend staying here again!"
