“This is a fantastic cottage in an adorable village. It has rolling hills, a burn and lots of sheep! The cottage itself was quite large and was fit for our family of 6, including adult children and their spouses. It was clean, decorated well and rather comfortable. There are amenities within walking distance such as a pub, museum, etc. We wished we had stayed longer and we'll definitely return!”

“Having stayed in Wanlockhead for a week at the end of June 2021, this property seemed like an ideal overnight stay during a house move from the the South Coast to Aberdeen. Within easy distance of the M74 and very peaceful. Loved the bold décor. Excellent nights rest , the downstairs bed was very comfortable and the property spotlessly clean.”

“The apartment was exactly as depicted on the website. It was very comfortable and cozy. The perfect size for my stay. “We all absolutely no complaints on our stay, the properly was cleaned for our arrival and we even had a cake with some wine left for our arrival. I only gave 4 stars for accuracy of online listing due to the maps location on the posting did not match where the location actually was and we got a lil lost but a quick call with the host and we found it. ”
