"Casitas Tenorio is an amazing place. Designed to stimulate your curiosity and then have answers to your questions. The common area has field guides, atlases, and all kinds of information to enhance your stay. We'd spot amazing wildlife and then try to find them in the guides. The farm tour was fantastic, and the food quality. Michelle in particular was wonderful and kind. I've already recommended it to several friends."

"The location was perfect for seeing Rio Celeste and other rainforest tours. Everyone was really friendly and the food was great. Communication was somewhat interesting because I hadn’t brushed up on my Spanish enough but we made it work! The bed wasn’t super comfortable, shower didn’t get very hot and the walls weren’t exactly soundproof but for the price it was still a good value. I’d definitely stay here again!"

"The Casita was just as advertised. Small but didn't feel small. We were nervous about the size before moving in but it felt the right size and we didn't feel crowded or closed in. It had everything that we needed and expected. The view was great and the location was fine. We had a car so getting to groceries etc. was not a problem. Barbara and Lawrence were great hosts. We really enjoyed Lawrence's band practices. All in all a great stay."

"Excelente lugar! Es un lugar familiar con un trato muy cercano y amable. La cabina muy bonita y cómoda, con una pequeña cocina. "This was our first night in Costa Rica. We picked to stay here to split the drive to la fortuna and to be able to stop at Rio Celeste. It’s close to Rio Celeste. The town itself seems abanded. The owner of this property is very sweet. The area is loud, close to the road and constantly hearing traffic. The cabin type room has a large portable fan which was great. Shower works well. Good stay for 1 night. "

"We enjoyed it very much ! This is a less hectic area in the other side of the lake around 45 minute drive from fortuna. The food was good and the staff very kind! The view of the sunset from our bungalow was breathtaking. The room was really nice and clean, comfortable and quiet The bar and the pool closed a little earlier than we expected and if you are in Costa Rica in vacation having the pool closed a 7 pm is a bummer especially with the weather. But overall this is a place I would love to go back and will recommend. "
