"The main issue was that responsibility for the management of this booking was switched from Stayz to Weekenda a couple of months ahead of the booking date. I had no warning of this whatsoever and found Weekenda to be very unsatisfactory with regard to their management of the process. It is clearly all run off shore and there was no consistency between email communication and the messaging I received from the call centre on the occasions that I had to chase things up. The property that I originally booked was suddenly made unavaliable without adequate explanation and the re booking process was clumsy and protracted. In the end we were offered a comparable property and the booking went ahead as planned. However I would never knowingly use Weekenda again (they have a very poor google review rating so I am not alone in my experience). I would expect Stayz to be more upfront about their usage of third party providers and if you are not aware of Weekenda's poor reputation you owe it to your customers to take a closer look."

"We had a fantastic time. Beautiful and spacious house. Host is really welcoming and great at communicating and providing timely updates. It's around 15 minutes to the wineries. Highly recommend."

"Hi there , I just wanted to let you k ow we had a great weekend spending quality time with our family and of course celebrating our queen my mother . The house was grand, so very big so thank you. Sadly though we did have some concerns a problems whilst we were there . It would seem there are quite few things requiring maintenance. Unfortunately the lawns were overgrown , it took a couple of hours to eventually be able to open the two sliding doors n the kitchen/family room as it seems the wheels on the doors are gone or definitely need some oil on them . Not sure of the house has been sprayed on a while but just to give you the heads up there were several big spiders. People enjoyed the spa until they got out and everyone was itchy despite having a shower . Jewellery was tarnished and clothes were bleached because there was way too much chlorine on the spa. Some of the curtains are broken and couldn’t be closed properly . I really disliked having to complain the lady who is the owner was so lovely and the house is great for a group booking but just disappointing that it seems to need a bit of maintenance . I’m not sure if it is the agency managing the property is not feeding back to the owner because the photos were different to the actual condition of some parts of the house . Happy to have a conversation if you like . We did still have a beautiful weekend. We really appreciated the early check in and late check out though."
