"The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a convenient location to popular spots. However, the pool is for people age younger than 70; the bath tub drained badly; even after overnight, the puddle remained; the toilet didn't flush well."

"The staff are super friendly and even if they are not able to converse in English, we used an app translator or someone else on the staff. Location is ideal for us, within 10 min walk to the Muslim Quarter but far enough to not hear the noise. Plenty of restaurants around the area, pharmacies, fruit shops etc. The Air Conditioning in our room was not great - we never got around to reporting it as we left the windows open and it didnt get too warm at nights. Breakfast selection was good. They had a non-pork section which was adequate. The fried rice and noodles were very tasty. They have afternoon tea which was decent - a good filler to dinner/supper. On Google map or Amap, the hotel's location is also called Dongshes Hotel for some odd reason. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here, from the staff to the breakfast and the location. Highly recommended!"

"Everything was good"

"We stayed in a suite and it was a grand room. The hotel is pretty central and walking distance from most touristy spots. It has its own beautiful campus with 5 other 5 star hotels along with beautiful gardens around. The buildings really look grand and from an different era. Our room was comfortable, spacious and with good amenities and comforts. Staff is friendly and helpful. Recommended while in Xian."
