First Birch Bay vacation

We enjoyed our stay! Great location and view! We would definitely stay again. The decor was cute and the furniture clean. The only negative comment would be that the bathroom and living area rugs were not clean. Overall we loved the place.

Quiet and restorative stay at Birch Bay

We are in our early seventies and we were looking for a simple vacation at the Beach. And this was our experience. Condo very well equipped, unobstructed view of the ocean, peaceful location. Visited Drayton Harbor and Point Whitehorn Marine Reserve, with an easy trail down to the beach, overlooking the San Juan Islands. Close to grocery stories in Blaine. Would stay again!

Very nice condo, nicely decorated, nice area, enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Cheap and uncomfortable couch, but other than that there were a lot of things. Tried to contact the owner and never got a response.

Even though it snowed six to eight inches the day after we got here, we felt safe and cozy. We were able to get the snow off the car and drive to the local market to get dinner and breakfast. The view was awesome, and it was nice that someone left a baggie of snow melt at the door.

The condo was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We loved being able to enjoy the ocean view over a cup of coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening! There are several restaurants in easy walking distance and even more in Blaine which is just 15 mins away by car. Lots of people are out walking ever day by the ocean and everyone was very friendly. The condo complex is great. Parking is right outside the entrance.

Cozy spot in Birch Bay

Great view, well stocked condo. Easy to get in, easy to park. My only complaint is I don’t think the place was fully vacuumed and there were some spiders and webs in the loft window. I would stay there again though because of the location, space, and well stocked kitchen. We got a text asking about the cleanliness after check in and we mentioned the spiders but didn’t hear back on it. We let it go because they weren’t hurting us and we couldn’t reach them. Again still a nice place to stay!

Nice unit, close to beach, good view, grocer in walking distance, basic amenities, but cable TV did not work (so basic channels like ABC, NBC, ESPN, PBS, etc., World Series, were not available), some streaming channels (like Disney ) were locked out by previous occupants; microwave did not work properly, dish washer did not work; light in first floor bedroom went off intermittently.
