Hosts communicated effectively on what to expect pre-stay, and for check-out. Hosts were available if any issues arose. Hosts also checked-in via message to make sure all was well. "My mom and I had a wonderful time our 10 days there. Smooth check-in, exceptionally clean and all the amenities at our fingertips. We loved that it was secluded—not another person in sight. We looooved the wood burning fireplace the most and enjoyed many fires. There were so many extra things that we didn’t take advantage of, but love if we come back in warmer weather—kayak, canoe, outdoor firepit with comfy Adirondack chairs, and even the Bags yard game. Any questions we had were answered...

"This property is so comfortable and cozy. We stayed three nights so we could hike the ice age trail, so weren't at the property during the day much. Furniture and beds are comfortable, neighborhood was quiet and Norah was very attentive. Our visit was in the fall but we didn't use the gas fireplace or the fire pit outdoors, both of which are nice amenities."

"Really enjoyed this place in Fall! Opposite side of lake has little to no cabins, so perfect, quiet view. Appreciated the wider dock. Able to comfortably hang out and fish with kids without tripping over each other. Beautiful views from inside too. Strong attention to detail inside with seasonal themed decor, well stocked kitchen/bath, and fun stuff for the kids like smores kit and plenty of games and activities. Although we didnt use them, appreciated the extra towels and supplies like...

"Nice smaller cabins for comfortable getaway right on the water. Close to everything, but yet feel your out of town. Hosts were wonderful and provided great information before check in. This was our 2nd stay and first with this host. We’ll be back again and again!"

"We were a group of 8 women and had absolutely everything we needed. It is a stunning house and the surrounding lake-filled area is beautiful. We had perfect hiking on the nearby Little Siss trails. Since it was April, we didn't go out onto the lake but plan to next time we stay:)"

"Lake Grindstone is a beautiful lake. I kayaked and played off the dock with my Welsh Terrier. That said, the cabin doesn’t make a good first impression as the deck is dirty and in need of a blowing off. The deck would not be safe for small children as there are gaps in the spindles. Could crawl and fall 8-10 feet. Couldn’t close the screen on the deck door off the LR; but was able to get it on the track using a butter knife. Satellite TV didn’t work. "We had our entire family (6 adults and our 14 month old Granddaughter) had such a wonderful time! We kayaked, fished and just enjoyed the natural splendor! For a small little lake holy smokes it was so much fun watching the fishing activity! Loved everything! Brad our property owner was so highly communicative and I certainly appreciate everything he did for us! I honestly wish that there was a higher level we could give! 👍"

"Cabin was clean and had the basics. No frills. Thought it would be in and around trees, but it was right out in the open trailer park area. TV was an issue. Was told no Internet, but didn't find that we had Paramount Plus until last morning. We brought our Fire Stick so git done options. Very small shower and beds were not very comfortable. Overall it was more stly what we needed. Thanks"

"I came to the area to visit with my grandpa for a quick weekend trip. The house was perfect. Clean, organized, had everything mapped out that you might ever need during your stay. Location was fantastic and the view of the lake right outside of the living room window was perfect. I actually wish we were staying longer. I will definitely be looking to book this location in the future. It was everything we needed."
