We also enjoyed their sister property’s restaurant and the fact that they offer complimentary transportation there and back. We took advantage of their same day laundry service and the front desk staff were very very helpful in arranging everything we needed including train tickets for our departure day. "This is one of the most spectacular hotels in which we've ever stayed (and we travel a lot). From the seamless and informative check-in to the most helpful staff, this is a place not to miss. Our Price of Whales suite was simply magnificent... beautifully decorated, spacious, and functional. The cleaning staff was never seen, even though the room was cleaned 2x/day. The outdoor seating for dinner was very beautiful with fire places placed strategically next to occupied tables. The service was spot-on, and we never wanted for anything. The breakfast room is gorgeous, as is the 51 Shades of Pink restaurant. The pool is nice too. The driver/guide we booked through the staff was excellent (Vijay) - must tour the private rooms at City Palace that only visitors staying at Rajmahal Palace can see. Beautiful. The Observatory is a must as well. And, Amer Fort. Oh, and don't forget to stop at a jewelry store for some precious gemstones! This property is truly special. "
