「This is a place for when you want to toyally switch off, relax and gave a great nights sleep. Having no TV on the room, meant we went to bed early, heard no a sound all night and came away fully refreshed after one night. There are a couple of nice pubs and restaurants in walking distance and the Thai Orchid is fab.」

I had a comfortable stay - the room and especially the bathroom were very small (I struggled to close the bathroom door without squeezing behind it) The breakfast was very nice and made to order with quality ingredients. Check in was good but the reception staff should inform guests that the key ring for the hotel room also acts as a fob for the hotel gates. 「Staff were fantastic especially Al in the spa and the waitress serving breakfast both mornings. Room was very clean. Loved the heated outdoor pool. Breakfast was delicious especially the cooked breakfast. 」

「Slightly confused breakfast selection. Ordered a full English but most items available at the buffet as well. Asked for baked beans and told none available! Otherwise a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Appreciated the fact that there was no extra charge for some of the goodies left in the room, use of bicycles and EV charging. Lovely setting. 」

「As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. 」
