“The hosts were a lovely couple very helpful and made us very welcome The room was well decorated and extremely clean.With a good supply of sachets for hot drinks and a fridge downstairs where we could help ourselves to milk and juice.And the breakfast was excellent.Would definitely stay there again and recommend them to family and friend. ”

“It was not made clear to me that breakfast was not available. the stud walls around Room 3 allowed lots of noise from the toilet and showers pumps, the shower had no grab rails with that slippery floor. the toilet paper made for a contortionist and the double bed in the alcove between the front wall and chimney breast would be difficult for a couple in the night. although spotless I was not impressed and will not return.”

“We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful stately home. Bridget, Bas and all the other staff we met were charming, friendly and accommodating, including agreeing to bring forward our stay at almost no notice even though we had a fixed, non-refundable booking through hotels.com. This enabled us to visit just before coronavirus restrictions came into place and we had the place to ourselves most of the time. The cooked breakfast was very good. We stayed in a 2nd floor corner room with excellent……
