Checking in was ok. Place is run down. Gave us card holders that were used with other room numbers and a poorly written wifi password. Tried to call front desk. No answer. Had to go down to desk. She said wasn’t her fault. She didn’t write it. Maybe use fresh key holders?? Room has mold in caulking of tub, so we didn’t use it. Room was crazy small. Hardly any plug ins. The ones that were available just dropped the cords out. And I was sure we were supposed to have a fridge. No fridge. However. We stayed one night. Didn’t have time to really care. Bed was clean and comfortable and hot breakfast to order was nice. If you don’t care much about the minor annoyances. And it is priced low enough. It is ok for a short stay.

Place is in rough shape. Air conditioner sounded like a propeller engine plane taking off. Something in the sink smelled really bad. There was a leak in the shower spraying the ceiling tiles so they were warped and about to fall down. Huge TV but buffered forever. Waited 20 min for someone at front desk to check in. And 10 min before I just left and checked out online.

It was clean, staff was friendly, and they served a hot breakfast. There were other places to eat within walking distance and driving distance. Gas stations were nearby. Was close to interstate and the hospital.

I booked a queen room. First room they gave me had an ozone running in it. The room they moved us to is a double which sucks for 2 people. Rooms are less than desirable and not very clean. Hallways smell like a mixture of poop and weed. I called ahead to make sure the pool and hot tub were working. I was told they were. When arriving the hot tub was under maintenance. Won’t be saying here again.

Thus hotel is not kept up. The hallways smell of mold and mildew, and the front lobby is dirty and messy. There was no one at the front desk when we arrived, but there were instructions to call the manager. We did and he came in about five minutes. Although the room and the linens were clean, it was ridiculously small--you could barely walk around the bed. The bathroom had mildew in the tub. Clearly it's a place used by itinerant workers. In the morning, before dawn, someone started up a truck in front of our room, and the exhaust quickly filled the room. It's probably the worst motel I've ever spent a night in.

I decided not to stay at the property due to safety concerns. There was no available parking near my room entrance, and the area was poorly lit. As a result, I did not feel comfortable entering the room. Instead, I immediately booked accommodations elsewhere where I felt safe and secure. The hotel room we stayed in was not up to par. The room had a missing drawer, screws were loose on the towel rack and shower. No clock in the room so we could tell the time. I made a reservation on Expedia but it wasn't saved because it was through a third party so we got a dump of a room. I was highly disappointed. The only good thing they had was hot breakfast and the pool was nice. That's about it. Oh and I also over heard another guest complain about bed bugs. Gross!!

The room itself was clean, up front staff was friendly. The room we stayed in just needs a little TLC. The a/c unit had a lot of mold, and needed a good cleaning. The bathroom fixtures were rusty, and needed to be replaced, but on the bright side, the bed was comfortable!

Property is a lil run down but clean. Staff is great. Breakfast was good, you order eggs however you like them, meat, and hash browns made by short order chef right then. Try the restaurant next door the “40 steak and seafood”. It's an awesome steakhouse with plenty of Bismarck nostalgic history!
