Our stay was very disappointing. Instructions were the home would be unlocked, but we were locked out. It took a few tries to reach the host and get a code which should have been provided in our online instructions. There was no instruction manual in the home. The furnishings and amenities did not match the quality of the home or the neighborhood. The patio furniture that I had previously confirmed was not available. Host did supply patio furniture halfway through our stay. The exercise pool did not work. Two of the shower floors and pool room floors were dangerously slippery when wet. The towels were old and some odorous. Other than the photo op pictures the rental was bare and uninviting. The bed in the master was a queen not a king as was listed. No blinds in the master for privacy and ability to sleep in. There was only one hair dryer for four bathrooms. Some basics that were unavailable were black coffee, only had flavored, ran out of body wash, and kitchenware was lacking, did not even have a cutting board. This home definitely did not meet our expectations for the price we paid. I did ask for a refund. Host thought I should be satisfied with getting key amenities, not all amenities. I disagree. I contacted VRBO and they contacted the host, but they did not follow up with me to see if I was able to get resolution. I responded to the VRBO email I received previously and they are no longer monitoring that email.
