"What a perfect place to stay. Room was large and comfortable. Emiko was a lovey host full of great suggestions on what to do locally. Breakfast was very tasty but the real added extra was the on site bar with what seemed like 100s of different whiskeys which Emiko was very knowledgable on and happy to help you find one to enjoy. We will be back. "

"Nice lodges, very comfortable beds, few things were bit tired but overall okay. Hot tub great, on site restaurant fab, nice local beaches. Most lodge decking/hot tub areas are in shade from trees most of the day so need to find sunny spots in communal areas."

"Annie's Cottage was well equipped, clean and comfortable. We were given very clear instructions throughout. The only drawback is the lack of outside space and the inability to use the back entrance. As we were there to visit friends and family, this did not affect us unduly but might be an issue for future users."

"We had a wonderful stay at Sledbank Cottage. We were greeted with a delicious jam and coconut cake, which went down perfectly with a cuppa after our adventures. It’s a truly peaceful retreat with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The hot tub was a real treat and the cosy fire and beautiful finishes throughout the cottage made it feel extra special. The cottage is ideally located as a base for exploring the Lake District — we visited Wast Water and Ambleside with ease. Overall, it was the perfect, peaceful stay, and we’re already looking forward to returning again in the near future."
