Wonderful, cozy stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Cabin in the Clouds tremendously! The cabin was immaculate and wonderfully equipped with everything we needed. The hosts were quick to answer our question while there and were very helpful. Our stay was very much enjoyed at this cozy mountain retreat!

The house was clean and beautiful, we had our family of 6 stay, the views were breathtaking and we ended up cooking and staying in both nights just to take full advantage of the view. We had two bears walk right by the house up the road, best moment for our kids! Larry was the best, we had a death in the family the weekend we had scheduled and Larry couldn’t have been more gracious and kind giving us another weekend at the last min. Highly recommend, you will be thrilled.

Beautiful Cabin in the Clouds

This cabin is a perfect, cozy get-away. The sunsets are beautiful. The cabin is tucked up on the mountainside, but Black Mountain and Montreat are so close. The history of the cabin and the area is so interesting. We enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyable Stay

My wife and I spent Christmas at Cabin in the Clouds and enjoyed our 4 night stay. We would have liked to have a few Christmas decorations around but the sunsets provided a glorious decoration. The cabin is outfitted well and we soaked in the quietness of the area.

A great stay was had by all!

My husband and I stayed three nights at the Cabin in the Clouds. It was a perfect home for us as we explored Asheville, Black Mountain and began to travel farther north on the Blueridge Parkway. Very clean and comfortable!

Lovely Cabin

The cabin was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean and had everything we needed. We loved having morning coffee on the porch with the beautiful view! We found great hikes close by and delicious places to eat in the town of black mountain, just 10 minutes from the cabin.

Once we got past the keypad door lock issue, things were great. Excellent, clean, cozy cabin with beautiful views. Great place to stay with easy access to Asheville or the Smokey's

Cabin in the Clouds!

Beautiful cabin way up above Black Mountain, NC. Fantastic views, warm, cozy cabin. Black Mountain is a really neat small town. Asheville is an easy drive and a super cool city to visit.

The cabin was exceptionally clean when we arrived. There was snow on the ground during our visit, but the roads and walk were cleared and dry. The view is beautiful, and the owner responds promptly to any messages. The location is very convenient to Black Mountain town and to nearby Pisgah National Forest trails.

Beautiful Sunsets in the Mountains

We loved the cabin and especially enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the back deck. We even got to see a mama bear and her 3 cubs a few nights. Bonus!

This cabin is so perfect and romantic. Beautiful fireplace and wood paneling and ceilings. The pictures don’t do it justice. So much better in person. It is perfectly appointed with everything you could ever need. The Mountain Views are incredible!! I would definitely stay there again!

As Always....a lovely, peaceful getaway!

Cabin in the Clouds has been a place we've returned to every year for the past five years. It is obvious the owners take pride in their cabin. They take great care to make it a comfortable and welcoming place for all of their visitors. This is one of the main reasons we return every year. And also, the mountain view is spectacular.

Hidden Gem

We love visiting Cabin in the Clouds, so much that we return several times every autumn. The owners take especially good care of this cabin. It is well equipped, updated and clean. The cabin is an easy drive to the quaint downtown of Black Mountain. And the view is fabulous! You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

Perfect

Stayed for week during Swanannoa Gathering and it was the perfect spot. Kitchen well appointed, super comfortable bed and LR furnishings. View is even better than the photos and outdoor furniture is fully padded and comfortable. Parking is tight, but manageable even with my larger vehicle. I would definitely re-book this cabin. Kevin

Perfect Getaway

Perfect little cabin with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Larry and Barbara were available and helpful when I had trouble with the front door. The drive up the mountain is a little nerve-wracking, but completely worth it to enjoy the view! I spent most of my time on the deck, as the weather was perfect during my stay. Black Mountain is a cute town worth exploring. Thank you for a perfect stay!

We love this little cabin. It's a must visit for us every fall. The view is gorgeous and the cabin has everything we want or need. It's clean, private, well-equipped and close to downtown. Black Mountain is a charming town and worth a visit. Our favorite restaurant is Black Mountain Bistro. Please patronize these small businesses. You won't be disappointed. They are still recovering from Hurricane Helene.

Wonderful anniversary trip!

We had a wonderful time at Cabin in the clouds. The view is spectacular and can be enjoyed from inside (through the wall of windows) and outside on the porch. Its just a 15 minute drive to pretty much anywhere in Black Mountain/Montreat. Once we figured out all the road names, it was easy to get up and down the mountain. The place was very clean and well taken care of. We enjoyed watching movies on the blu-ray player, thank you! We will definitely return!

All we hoped for and more

Cabin in the Clouds was awesome. Very cozy, well kept and comfortable. Owner was so nice and responsive when we had a couple of glitches. Our view of the mountains from the front porch, living room and bedroom was gorgeous especially at sunset. We enjoyed our trip up the Blue Ridge pkwy and exploring the town of Black Mountain with all the shops and good restaurants. We would not hesitate to recommend this cabin to anyone

Wonderful, as always!

My husband and I have been visiting Cabin in the Clouds every fall for the past five years. There's so much to like about this cabin; the mountain view, the comfort and cleanliness, and the location. Although it is convenient to town, we just enjoy spending time taking in the view. The owners take exceptional care of this cabin. The upgrades made this year to the bathroom, new flooring throughout, new furniture, a larger flat screen TV, propane grill and dining room table and chairs were nicely done. A great place to spend some time. Highly recommended.
