Charming Cottage!
The cottage was just as shown. Extremely clean, cozy & within walking distance of Village of Black Mountain. We didn’t cook, but kitchen appeared to be well equipped for simple meal prep. We would definitely stay again. Check in & communication was easy.

Cottage on Fifth
The house was small and perfect for the two of us. Tastefully decorated. Loved the front porch. The host was friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The house is in a backyard and the host works hard on the lovely landscaping. We really enjoyed ourselves. Great quiet place to stay and enjoy Black Mountain.

A calm and friendly respite in a quiet neighborhood
My stay at this cottage was an absolute delight! Clean space, lots of sunshine and quaint but cozy feel. WIFI was also amazing which was what I needed for work-if you want a respite within a quiet neighborhood, walking distance to downtown, and even a resident bunny in the backyard to see, this place is for you! Host Brenda was also very friendly, courteous and warm, whom I had the opportunity to meet during my stay. I will definitely be coming back!

Charming little cottage in very quiet location. Easy walk to town. Well equipped. Brenda was an absolutely lovely host. Super friendly and helpful and a fun lady. So happy we stayed in Black Mountain rather than Asheville. Such a friendly little town.

Great stay near downtown Black Mountain
Great spot, about 5 blocks from downtown. Very new and clean, with great air conditioning, basic kitchen setup and comfortable bed. Only thing I’d note is listing description says 1 be/1 bath, but it’s a studio (all one room, plus bath). Not a big deal but my wife’s a night owl so we usually try to book places where the bedroom is its own room. Our host, Brenda was fantastic by the way. Present, but not obtrusive and a great lady.

We had a great time at this little retreat cabin located very close (very walkable distance) to downtown Black Mountain. Everything you need is there. Lots of room for two. It’s peaceful. Wonderful owner. You’ll love it.

Fantastic!
Very cozy, cute, and all very clean and new. Location is excellent (about 2 minutes from downtown Black Mountain and 15 or so from Asheville proper) and is very quiet and well kept. Brenda was wonderful and very respectful of our privacy the whole time we were there. Exactly what we were looking for...hope to visit again soon!

This is a gorgeous place to stay. We hike lake tomahawk, wilson college trails and others. Hostess is fantastic. Black mtn is a quaint small town reminding you of saluda.

Lovely cottage!
Absolutely lovely cottage and perfect location. Ms. Brenda is so kind. Bring a flashlight or use phone light for walking the very dark path behind the house to the cottage. Be sure to CONFIRM your listing days prior to arrival with direct communication with the owner. A glitch with VRBO and AIRBB had double booked people during our stay. Loved our stay and hope to return someday!

Cozy October cottage
My husband and I wanted a central location in Black Mountain area so we could explore the surrounding towns and golf courses. Brenda is a perfect host: friendly without intruding on your privacy. She keeps busy coming and going, but is available when needed. Cottage was comfortable, clean and met our needs. Nice distance from Black Mountain village and highways.

Absolutely delightful!
We didn’t get to stay long, but I’d be happy to return again and again. The cabin is tucked away in a secluded charming garden on a quiet street in the nicest neighborhood. We couldn’t have been more comfortable in our own home, everything was provided in this perfectly arranged space. It was exquisitely clean and well appointed, and the lovely lady who lived in the main house was so nice and friendly, we can’t wait to return.

Cute cottage, great location
My friend and I stayed 2 nights and 3 days in this cute cottage while attending our college homecoming. So clean and cozy. Easy parking for 2 small/medium vehicles. Great location for walking to downtown Black Mountain, and super short drive to Montreat College. We just loved having our Host Brenda nearby. She made us feel right at home. We will return!

Clean, neat, lodgings themselves exactly as expected. However, was under the impression when originally rented, cottage would be more secluded instead of in a neighborhood. Again, 0 issues with the lodging itself.

We enjoyed our stay in this cottage in Black Mountain. It was very quiet - never saw the owner. Cottage sits behind her home. We did have our own parking space. Space is a little tight, but very clean and comfortable.

The cottage was nice, decorated beautifully, and conveniently located. We used it as our base for two nights to explore both Asheville and The Biltmore. My husband and I were glad we rented the cottage for two nights and had a full size refrigerator so we could keep our drinks and snacks cold (versus a hotel mini-fridge).

Lovely Cozy Cottage!
This cottage was perfect for my husband and I. It was so clean, nicely decorated, and fully equipped, that we felt like we were staying with family. The owner is on site and was gracious, friendly, and helpful. There are plenty of restaurants very close by. Birthday getaway
I needed time to refresh myself and simply be in the present moment. The cottage was everything I needed. Downtown was a beautiful walk away, and parking was easy when doing some shopping. Brenda was very pleasant and allowed me the space I needed. She also provided excellent recommendations for food when asked. She provided coffee cups (Keurig-style machine), so my morning coffee on the porch was heavenly! I would stay there again!
