"Spotless Welcoming Simple Efficient "

"Rooms are clean, neat and appropriatly appointed. It is a historic site, so it had the rustic and relaxing feel we love. The common rooms had warm and welcoming furniture, great for playing cards or sitting by the fire. The staff was very freindly and the sevices was spot on. Shout out to Sara for rocking it all week. The attached restaurant had fantastic food, a fun staff, and a great mix of clientele. We felt welcome every second we were at the Whitney inn. This type of stay is not for everyone, but this is a genuine new hampshire experience. "

"This place is so simple in its charm. The owner is always cheerfully, helpful, and the rooms are spotless. The location is fantastic – great for cross country skiing, but also a good midpoint for several downhill options. The owner was happy to turn on the fire in the breakfast nook in the evenings so my family could play games. Perfect! "

"George's Cabin was such a lovely place. It clearly was the nicest place to be for Thanksgiving, with hiking trails right outside the door. The wood stove kept us nice and cozy. The views from the windows of the mountains of Jackson were stunning"
