Palm Nest villa, is located in Tamarin in the District of Black River on the west coast of Mauritius, which is well known for its beautiful sunsets. This private villa has a beautiful tropical garden and a private pool. Just 3km away from the Tamarin beach, it is located a little bit uphill where you have a Seaview and will witness the most beautiful sunsets on the island, right from the bedroom terrace. The villa is perfectly located for you to enjoy your holiday without going too far, with Supermarkets, Restaurants, bars and cafés, shops and the beach only a few minutes away by foot or by car. Black River is host to some amazing places to visit, like the Black River Gorges if you love to hike or just take a casual walk along the river. Neighbour to Chamarel, Flic en Flac and Le Morne where you can take a scenic drive to discover the area. The Casela Nature Park is 15 mins away and perfect for a whole day family outing with lots of exciting adventures, rides, safaris, animal park and zip lining. After a long day out, Palm Nest Villa is the perfect place for you and your family to enjoy your holiday within the privacy of its beautiful garden.

Christmas in Tamarin!
Lovely place to stay with the kids over Christmas . Pool and garden so nice and lovely sunset views over the sea from the balcony. We were sad to leave and Coralie was very helpful throughout. Tamarin is a great spot for beaches, the mountains, and restaurants.

Très belle maison au calme sur les hauteurs de Rivière Noire, parfaitement équipée pour le confort d'une famille (nous étions 2 adultes et 3 enfants). L'espace est très agréable : 3 chambres à l'étage avec une belle suite parentale, toutes climatisées et beaucoup de rangements. Extérieur sans vis à vis avec une piscine, transats et une vue dégagée très sympa. Le quartier est calme, voisinage très agréable avec toutes commodités à 5 min à pieds. Un grand merci à Coralie pour son accueil et tous ses bons plans sur place (cuisinier / beachs clubs / restaurants...).

Entre charme et désagréments.
Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans cette charmante villa, cependant, deux des trois climatiseurs étaient hors service, ce qui a causé quelques désagréments. Heureusement, la propriétaire a rapidement fait intervenir un technicien, bien que cela ait pris deux jours en raison des jours fériés. Malgré cela, l'un des climatiseurs est resté non fonctionnel, obligeant ma plus jeune à dormir sur des couvertures au sol pendant tout le séjour. Bien qu'un geste commercial ait été proposé, je le trouve insuffisant compte tenu des désagréments occasionnés. De plus, un autre inconvénient était l'absence d'un sèche-linge, contrairement à ce qui était indiqué dans l'annonce.
