“When I made the reservation I thought we were at the main lodge and not at the camp. Of course the property is beautiful Accommodations were nice beds very comfortable , staff and was great but having to get up to walk to the bathroom was not fun for me so in the future when I book I will be making sure I’m at the main lodge. I think the camp is great for backpackers and those on a budget. ”

They were very helpful with everything. The location is uphill from town so we would walk down and take a $5 cab ride back up after dinner. The food at the restaurant was good. “I highly recommend Max Rooms. The staff is very kind, communicative and attentive- they really care about your experience! The house keeping staff keep the premises very clean. I was especially impressed with the freshness if the linens and the comfortable bedding. “We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day. Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! ”

The resort also was a 8 min drive from downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient. My cousin and I left sad to leave such a paradise. Highly recommend and hope to come back in the future! ”
